I highly doubt that SL5 is staged. I think its just a rumour.
Like I said to Soph before, most American reality shows look staged. Like Wife Swap for example.

Chris, they had evidence to prove it's fake. And it looks like it is from the evidence.

1. "Camp Shawnee" doesn't exist. It was filmed at Camp JCA Shalom in Malibu and if you look at the staff page on the website, ( http://www.campjcashalom.com/aboutus...ound_staff.php ) Ed and Dawn Bellante the supposed owners of the camp are not mentioned. In fact, their names aren't anywhere on the website!

2. Hunter Cross is a former model turned actor when he "got the acting bug and moved to L.A. in January" and then almost instantly "he got the chance to be a counselor on The Simple Life". Source: http://www.eonline.com/gossip/planet...8-8c05c77079cb

So so far, we have a fake camp with fake owners and counsellors and the "relationship" between Hunter and Paris is also probably a set-up.

3. Hunter told the Herald-Mail about his “mutual attraction” with Paris Hilton during “five weeks of shooting.” But the paper says “he does not know whether he will see her once her current legal problems are resolved.” In other words, since they’re not in contact any more, that romance was probably faked, too. Oh, and "'Til Death Do Us Part" was also fake, or at least the last episode was.

Look at this screenshot taken from one of the last shots of Paris in "The Confrontation". Note her hair, the fur NOT being around her neck and the lack of what appears to be a photo in front of the lamp of the far left.

Then look at this screenshot which allegedly took place EXACTLY where season four ended at almost EXACTLY the same angle as the previous screenshot. Her hair has changed. The fur is around her neck AND there is a photo in front of the lamp on the far left. PLUS Reba has appeared out of nowhere and the kitchen looks completely different.

Plus, as SillyBitch pointed out in her post ( http://boards.eonline.com/Insider/Bo...51981&tstart=0 ), Nicole arrived in "The Confrontation" with Foxxy Cleopatra and Honey Child, but was shown in the season five premier leaving the Siegals's without them.

I can see that SL4 ending may have been fake. I always knew it was anyway.

But I still dont think that SL5 is fake. Even from that 'evidence'
Of course the producers would have to cast campers, they wouldnt want any Parcole haters there, who would probably kill them both.
The actor probably just wanted to be on TV with them. And Im sure the name change has some significance.

If you watch the episode, at the end it even says that "Portions of the opening sequence of Paris and Nicole's reconciliation are recreated for dramatic purposes."
So they did kinda admit to that.
