Phil and Jane to be the last indestructible ones left when SOC has decimated everyone else?

Marsh. 09-09-2017 12:18 AM

Considering everything happened quite quickly, explosion/shooting/fire, they cleared the scene of the gas explosion, the police left the Murray flat quite quickly. No evidence required? No follow up?

Just leave it so the Taylor's could have the set for their miscarriage storyline.

Speaking of Denise, I'm her pretending to be upset about Jane and being consoled by Kush

Terribly plotted, storylined, written and edited IMO.

Awful week saved by the sublime Kellie Bright and Laurie Brett IMO.

They are leagues above everyone else.

Lorna was excellent as well (she can be a bit hit or miss sometimes)

Firewire 09-09-2017 12:21 AM

Is anyone else concerned about Stacey's leg?

Ross. 09-09-2017 12:22 AM

Too much was going on

No story had any time to breathe before the next crash happened

Ross. 09-09-2017 12:23 AM

The miscarriage should've been left until later and could've made a good Autumn story for the Taylor's

Firewire 09-09-2017 12:24 AM

Can anyone explain why Linda and Johnny's ambulance was the one to overturn?

Yeah I agree

Firewire 09-09-2017 12:25 AM

Mick being ****ing hopeless as usual

Rob! 09-09-2017 12:29 AM

Safe to say Yorke and whoever the next producer is has got a ridiculous amount of work to do to clear up the mess that SOC has left for them

Yeah, her reaction to Steven's death was actually the best acting I've seen from her.

This. When was the last time Coronation Street or Emmerdale killed anyone off who wasn't leaving anyway? Eastenders for some bizarre reason feels the need to have a MURDAH or a death for shock factor.

What do you mean?

Why was theirs chosen? It had the LEAST impact.

Oh, Jake Wood was good in the bit where he actually showed emotion to Jane.

He's been bloody wooden all year so it was nice to see a bit of effort. :)

Firewire 09-09-2017 12:35 AM

Johnny has been "central" to this stunt and I don't think he has uttered a single word.

He's been doing a Sam Womack since he returned

Oh.

Actually, I agree. It would've made Steven's death more dramatic.

But then we'd also have a tedious plot where Ian tries to sue the hospital or whatever because the ambulance driver prevented Steven getting to hospital in time to be saved. :joker:

Ross. 09-09-2017 12:36 AM

I kinda hate Max now

Rob! 09-09-2017 12:36 AM

Yorke answers the phone when the BBC rings him https://i.imgur.com/pGYUXTt.gif

"Oh hello! Been ages since I spoke to you! Do I want to what? Come and fix Eastenders? No, **** off, nobody's got that much time."https://i.imgur.com/x41OELe.gif

Ross. 09-09-2017 12:36 AM

And I was actually really looking forward to the revenge story
