Like Chuff says, most of the good members have left. I think part of the problem is that it's hard to be on a forum more heavily moderated than the Gaza Strip. The rules are interpreted differently by every person, it seems... professional grown ups get infracted for nothing and have no recourse. You get infracted for something that you regularly see mods do and sometimes if you disagree with a mod... I said in the summer it wasn't sustainable, and it's not.

None of this applies to the great mods - you know who you are.

The mere fact that you think there really are racist homophobes on the forum speaks a thousand words.
