Kirks a big man, he can give it out and take it but sometimes he was over-exuberant in his response and got infractions and even temporary bans. That's what drove him away. I think Kirk would laugh if he heard anyone suggest he was bullied by other posters.

Yes a lot of members have left iver the years many for normal reasons and just moving on thats what generally happens.

Sam was homophobic and got annoyed when he was called out on it but yeah whatever carry on telling us what a lovely man he was

I am referring let's say Brillo's Brexit threads when she posts about the economy doing well or whatever, she is told people had enough, and she should put it in the main thread and stuff like that which at the end of the day is not a posters job to dictate this, they know where the report button is so report it and it will be dealt with, there seems to be a peculiar delight in doing stuff like this with particular members.

Also with the addition of Chuff, Livia and Jaxie there are now, hilariously, 8 or 9 people ganging up to complain about people ganging up - each one of them getting far more petty and aggressive than any of the people who are supposedly "hounding people". Parmnion and Kazanne and arguably Jaxie have joined the thread PURELY to stick a boot in... So I have no idea where this idea of some sort of moral high ground is coming from.

Sam was not hounded, see this is the type of misinformation that causes issues, you yourself know that sam was not a perfect rule abiding member of this forum that never did a thing wrong chuff and i know this by talking to you privately as well as on the main forum.

Honestly, I don't really follow the Brexit threads too much, I don't have alot of interest in it so I couldn't give you a proper comment on that

I've used different forum groups for years before getting bored and moving on. That's what people generally do. Making this place out to be some sort of war zone where bullying is rife and people get hounded away is ridiculous.
This serious forums group is soft and fluffy compared to some I've been on.

Oh come off it Cherie, on several occasions Brillo has made inflammatory and uncivilised posts along the lines of 'well those stupid naive young people have been brainwashed by Corbyn haha' and 'they don't know what they're voting for, they just want freebies, pure delusion in my opinion'. I don't think that's conducive to a productive debate.

The fact of the matter is here is that if Brillo and co want to to make incessant threads and posts about Muslims that some people find racially antagonistic, then they also have to be prepared for incessant responses to them. By all means have your opinion, but your right to an opinion is not also a right to have no one criticise that opinion. That would in actual fact be rather...politically correct would it not?
