…actually I might give it a rewatch some time soon…that’s another lovely thing about the thread and the riddles, it gives you the urge to watch some again…this is like us in our pub quiz team as well, huddled away and trying to solve clues all day and we’re happy as…

Niamh. 30-05-2024 04:11 PM

You're absolutely right, i have as much fun trying to guess as i do watching people trying to guess mine  And yeah, i was going through some tapes last night and came across The Lost Boys, hence me doing that riddle today. Gonna watch it tonight i think.

…and especially when it’s movie/TV stuff…we become obsessed to find the answers and then that feeling of joy when you’ve just spent 19 hours to get one correct movie placed…heaven…:flutter:…

…yeah, me too…I know that it probably seems like I’m quite competitive but I’m actually not, it’s more that I become obsessed and can’t let it go…I mean, I would probably have to be tied up or something to not to get one if I could…and it’s definitely given me a list of rewatch movies when I have time, I’d forgotten how much fun horror could be……

…and saying…oh, I think it might be…(…too darn right it is for sure, look at me beaming from ear to ear and feeling good….)…

I just find massive comfort in watching these old films on VHS tapes especially, because that's how i remember first watching them. It's almost like recreating the memory, though you'll never truly catch that first time feeling (browsing films in physical form can never be matched by OD TV). I'm always hunting on ebay for tapes, especially blanks, films and TV recorded off the telly. Anyway, I found a bundle around a month ago, most just rubbishy nothing stuff, but one tape said "A Nightmare On Elm Street", so i went for it in the hope it was a Channel 4 recording from the early 90's, when I first watched that film, at my aunts while bunking off school, on a recording off the telly she had. Well, it was, i couldn't believe it, i recognised the indent card it had for A Nightmare On Street, just a pure rush of nostalgia. The person who had recorded it paused out the ads which was a shame, but still, i was over the moon :joker:
