Lets hope the UK has a good entry. Italy is a bit of a flop this year :joker:

Yeah. Usually you can count on them and Ukraine to send something good, but both this year are disappointing. It feels like everyone is trying not to win.

Benjamin 23-02-2025 05:47 PM

As it stands the level on this years Eurovision is well below average for me. Especially considering the past few years. I really hope the last few countries pull out the big guns.

Oh don’t get me wrong, i look for the fun in Eurovision. Most of the songs this year are lacking fun though.

Nicky91 24-02-2025 07:50 AM

Estonia might be disqualified and kicked out of this years competition

as Tommy Cash's video still hasn't been uploaded by eurovision official channel

i am proud of our second nation, hopefully we're returning to the final again with this Quirky BANGAH

:clap1:

Nicky91 26-02-2025 08:12 AM

San Marino serves quality in their national final!

Marco Carta AAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH  his song is called ''Solo Fantasia''

and Tutta L'Italia from Gabry Ponte in it too

Nicky91 27-02-2025 03:35 PM

i am Proud to be Dutch  almost too good to come from the Netherlands :flutter:

majestic classy piece of art by such a wonderful cutie of an artist  the english and french blend together so beautifully either

That actually not bad. It won’t win but it’s a good song.

you know the aussies love singing about foods and drinks

Men at Work mentioned good ol Vegemite in Land Down Under

Nicky91 27-02-2025 04:08 PM

hope Croatia choose wisely, and not Marko Bosnjak's pretentious ''quirky'' Poison Cake, also i've seen his outfit, he copied Joost with the shoulder pads :skull:

Marko Skugor comeback would be nice, ''Sta Da Boga Molim Ja'' is such a traditional lovely balkan ballad tbh

or Luka Nizetic if we want a ethno song by a hot guy

You do know Joost never invented shoulder pads at Eurovision right? A real fan would know that

Nicky91 27-02-2025 04:28 PM

one of the entries at San Marino

MOTHER serves, this wouldn't be out of place at sanremo AT ALL

so ethnic, mystical, wholesome and those vocals, if she can deliver live would be a possible good entry for them

i am excitedly waiting for Marco's Solo Fantasia to be released, i love most of his work honestly

Pierdavide Carone, he won sanremo 2010 as a composer for Valerio Scanu, this is his SMSC entry

Nicky91 28-02-2025 08:20 AM

how on earth is Luisa Corna 59 years old, she sounds so youthful

am even more mindblown now :o :o

what is in the water in italy i am wondering

Benjamin 02-03-2025 06:39 AM

Both Denmark and Germany have given us generic forgettable dance songs.

Nicky91 02-03-2025 07:41 AM

YASSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS am happy my fave won in Germany!!!

Baller is an absolute smash hit

also Rambo Zambo is an iconic interval act by Raabie, for the new chancellor Friedrich Merz :flutter: such a bop

Nicky91 02-03-2025 08:22 AM

gonna watch San Marino next weekend, at least i hope there'll be a livestream on youtube for it, as i have quite some favourites there too

Nicky91 02-03-2025 08:30 AM

i may hope Luisa brings her a game for that live performance, studio wise Il Giorno Giusto is even strong enough to be in Sanremo, but that is my personal opinion

i hope the live also captures the mystical elements well like in the music video

Marco keeping Solo Fantasia quite a big secret for now, oh well, based on his discography/vocal skills i have a good feeling about his entry

on 6th March we have Austria's entry, which is a countertenor and he has been on the voice uk even, as well as starmania, and grew up in dubai, Johannes Pietsch or his stage name JJ, expect operatic pop there, and very classical type of operatic pop that is, similar to Dimash Qudaibergen i guess, co-written by his best friend Teya Dora (whom represented them in liverpool btw with Salena for who the hell is edgar?)

True! Decent songs but they could definitely get lost in the competition

more normal songs, up against a pile of sexual filth

Stefan Raab also mentioned Australia's Milkshake Man in that final last night btw

i believe in Deutschland's act, and also a good thing Raab is gonna support them every step towards Basel, apparently they wanted to go with an english song at first, but Raab convinced them otherwise to go with this german dance track, which they had sent a demo version to him so this is a song which was only recently finalized few weeks before Chefsache selection

Nicky91 03-03-2025 04:02 PM

Israel's song is called New Day Will Rise

and it has french, english and hebrew lyrics

composed by Keren Peles

1 million euro budget (paid by Yuval and her family themselves, thx to auntie Ronit, the mega famous A-LISTER entrepeneur in Geneva)

Benjamin 03-03-2025 04:27 PM

I’m not sure how I feel about Croatia’s entry. I feel like after a few listens I’m either going to really love it or absolutely detest it.

the ''tasty tasty'' pre-chorus bits are soooo creeping me out :worry:

shame, they had much much better, in one of the strongest Dora editions to date
