Diana Vickers has confirmed that she hopes to work with Patrick Wolf in the future.

The former X Factor singer was rumoured to have collaborated with Wolf on her upcoming debut album, but she told DS that the pair were too busy to do a track together.

Vickers said: "I actually met up with Patrick Wolf and went to go and see him perform, but in the end it didn't really work out.

"I was really, really busy and he was busy and we didn't end up working together, but we've always said it's something we really want to do in the future - but it never got on the album, no."

Vickers also revealed that she met Lightspeed Champion, aka Dev Hynes, at a book signing, adding that the songwriter was like a "mad professor" in the studio.

the picture's overused, and the title isn't even on it!
i was hoping they'd use the picture of her in red with that big apple from the behind-the-scenes video of her album shoot.

i do like it, particularly the effects.. but i expected more.

Yeah well it's more that none of us have ever heard it. Although a lot of Thatters do buy songs sometimes just because Gary wrote it. I bought a classical album just because he managed the girl who recorded it! It is a lovely album though I have to say.
