Recently we have noticed a number of members abusing this section. This is a shame, as it all started off quite well...but now it seems people just head straight to appeal as soon as they get any infraction, no matter if it was clearly deserved or not.

This section is ONLY to be used if you feel you did not break a rule, or if you feel the punishment is too severe (for example, you get 20 points for the first ever mild insult you have used on the forum)

From now on, anyone found to be repeatedly abusing this forum will be infracted and/or banned. We simply do not have the time to sit and argue with every one of you about every infraction that gets given, and us doing this is delaying the genuine appeals from being sorted. This is unfair on the members who use this sub-forum properly.

From this moment on

*Threads just full of abuse or attitude, and no actual substance will be closed without reply.
eg 'WHY DID I JUST GET AN INFRACTION FOR SWEARING WHEN OTHERS DO IT, THIS IS JUST BIAS. etc etc'

*People who repeatedly try to bring other members punishments into things will be infracted. The section is not there for you to be nosy about what happens to other people. Rest assured they are treat the same as you. You wouldn't like it if we were discussing the ins and outs of your infractions with someone else, so why want it the other way round? The appeals section is only to be used to appeal against an infraction/ban YOU received. Not what others might or might not have got.

*Spamming the section after a thread is closed will result in an infraction, unless you have a valid reason for making another. A valid reason is NOT 'you closed my last thread for no reason, why?'. A reason will have been left when the thread was closed.

*Do not make a thread if you know you broke a rule (unless...as stated earlier, you feel the punishment is too severe. This does not include receiving bans for build up of infractions...eg. getting a 1 pointer for calling someone a bitch, and ending up banned for 2 weeks because of this). A valid appeal thread will explain why you think we made a mistake, not try and make out that an obvious rulebreak didn't happen, or saying someone else did the same and wasn't punished (you do not KNOW this, its speculation)

If a select few members do not stop using this section as they have been recently, they may also be banned from posting here, which would be a shame as one day they might actually have a point about a punishment being unfair.
