Not really an issue Jayson. Serena has been pretty consistent throughout her career. She just gets on with it. If she has to pull out, she pulls out with little fuss.

Murray has been well known for his 'tactics' and the rest of the tour know his ways.

I'm sure Robson, in Marc's view, was knocked out in the doubles as she had a strained eyelash or something.

A little bit of grace in acceptance of defeat, rather than excuses is always a sign of maturity, which he has little of judging by his immature post.

I'm sure when Georgie Stoop of Britain lost to an injured Zvonereva, he still made excuses for the Brit.
You can't sit there typing on your computer on your high horse pretending to understand what I think ok? By cheering on a victory when someone is injured and being happy over someone winning due to the opponent being injured doesn't come across very mature now does it? Coming from someone who was so quick to pick up on the fact that I am "immature" THAT makes me chuckle. And no I made no excuses for Stoop when she lost, she had her chances but the fact she isn't experienced enough and I rate Zvonereva highly showing that I didn't expect her to win nor did I feel robbed of a victory, plus Robson was against a good doubles team who are both awesome single's competitors and I didn't expect a win either, which must show that I am infact pretty mature.

Uh oh.. A Rod had his chance in the 2nd! Messed it up big time
Don't see him winning though I don't mind who wins. (Also Henman hill on friday was torture )

BigSister 05-07-2009 03:40 PM

2-1 Federer but rodicks just broke federer. Could be another 5 setter ^_^

Here we go!!

Marc 05-07-2009 03:56 PM

is anyone else's score all blurry? :conf:

30stone 05-07-2009 03:56 PM

Who looks most likely to win?

Fom 05-07-2009 03:58 PM

This is a fantastic match, Roddick certainly giving all he has got. I don't think I can watch more longer, I have already screamed at the TV numerous times.

I think it is pretty even... I can't call it. Personally I think they will be neck and neck till the end and Federer might pinch the win. Hoping I get proved wrong.

Both do, Roddick is doing really well! But if he were to ever get to a Championship point I think he might buckle.. its been a long time since he's had such a chance like this.
Federer can always rely on his talent, and boy don't we know he has a lot of that!!

Mens singles winner- Roddick
Womens singles winner- S Williams
Almost right on Murray going out in the Quarters, he was out in rhw semis.

Serena won the womens, so now it's all down to Roddick. I could have won a fortune.
He has been doing well this year! Queens (unfortunate)... RG.. meh he was never great on clay, and the hard courts, twice a loser in quarter-finals to federer and he defeated novak in one quarter-final in indian wells and in the australian open, final at doha and obviously his title in memphis! Very good year from him!
Just didn't expect him to do amazingly here this year

Also.. in all fairness it was either or for the women's winner

Marc 05-07-2009 04:23 PM

This has been a good match but I wouldn't say it was an epic.. been a bit 'one-two' punching with the shots

ILoveTRW 05-07-2009 04:24 PM

I'd turn gay for roddick:lovedup:

DrunkerThanMoses 05-07-2009 04:32 PM

Roddick :blush2: Hope he wins... i would turn being bisexual to gay for that guy.... win man win

Marc 05-07-2009 04:33 PM

Aww Noppawan Lertcheewakarn has won both singles and doubles for the girls, I'm glad as she played really well last year to get to the singles final :)

Marc 05-07-2009 04:35 PM

Arghh! My mind keeps changing.. Federer has been throwing in a few unusual errors in this game.. not sure what's going to happen. think he is really going for it trying to break

I would like to witness history (again) and for him to win his 15th but Roddick has really done well so far.

Marc 05-07-2009 04:38 PM

And now he's playing amazingly!! He needs to try and be a little more consistent!

DrunkerThanMoses 05-07-2009 04:40 PM

:) Come on Roddick brake his serve!

Havent liked Roddick much, i prefer federer's play quite unpredictable.

Firewire 05-07-2009 04:41 PM

I want Roddick to win this year.
