Okay so it's not lethal to most people, but it has the potential to mutate is what I'm taking from that.

bots 05-01-2023 04:25 AM

it's just another omicron variant that people are trying to give a new name to in order to make it sound more dangerous

Viruses always mutate and always will

That's a relief to some extent.

this new variant is crazily infectious though. The original wuhan variant had an R value of 1.5, this variant has an R value of about 20 and that, by definition, means that it is much less serious

MTVN 05-01-2023 06:29 AM

Peak China to go zero Covid for three years then allow a new variant to develop and suddenly open up to the world so that it can spread everywhere

MTVN 05-01-2023 06:37 AM

Although saying that apparently this variant originated in the US

What,
even if another Covid Variant gets too strong?

Those Vaccinations only work for around 6 months
then the fade.

Hence, keep having them.
You have missed your 4rth booster

bots 06-01-2023 09:15 AM

getting a vaccine is very much related to personal level of risk. If you are fit and healthy then maybe getting vaccinated is not worth it, but if you are in any way vulnerable then vaccination is very much the way to go. There is no right or wrong in it. If you don't get vaccinated and end up struck down then it's on you as your personal choice

That is good news but what happens if they get Covid again?

Crimson Dynamo 12-01-2023 08:10 AM

I wonder if many of the "long covid" people were similar to the ones who got "ME"?
