It's not really beliveable that Ruby would like Pete that much tbh :/

'Conor 02-08-2011 10:17 PM

its a boring storyline, i think unless they find good material for Pete they should axe him

InOne 02-08-2011 10:19 PM

It's a shame cos he's a decent actor, but yeah since the whole "revealing Brendens past" thing was so rubbish, not much they can do with it

They should have continued it and not randomly drop it because Brendan caused his accident and would naturally want some kind of retribution.

Yeah there was no climax or anything and then Pete just kinda blended in.

bbfan1991 02-08-2011 10:51 PM

Too much cast is a problem, it needs trimming down but the parents should be used more and have their own storylines.

InOne 02-08-2011 10:53 PM

Well there isn't one proper family structure apart from the Costello's I think lol

bbfan1991 02-08-2011 10:56 PM

Character interaction has improved i've noticed over the last few episodes, which have been better than quite a few of the last months efforts put together I have to say.

They need a more village orientated feel and more family scenes LOL.

I loved how Frankie said she was taking Ruby and Esther up for a slap up meal and they end up at Relish :joker:

Yeah, they barely do scenes out the little set anymore, they used to a bit. And it seems like Cindy's place is there one min and gone the next :joker: Can't quite work out where everything is in that little quite bit. Also how they magically get to Amy's and the Mcqueens so quick. I think their time of day is still off now and again too

They really do need to sort the sets out. Wonder how this coffee shop will come about?

The show has been very good recently and unmissable for me, hope they keep up the momentum because they've been advertising it and the ratings are picking up again:).

I wish the "this week on HO" adverts didn't seem so camp though, hate the colours they use

I know, they need a more mature look.

At least they're making an effort to promote the show and make clear that they're standing by it:).

InOne 03-08-2011 12:07 AM

bbfan1991 03-08-2011 12:17 PM

New spoilers sound good.

The Bart and Jason bit was so obvious but the situation in how it happens:shocked:.

Glad to see Rhys and Jacqui have some fun...

Jason and Bart...

Spoiler:

Hollyoaks star Victoria Atkin has revealed that her character Jason Costello confesses his love for Bart McQueen in a forthcoming storyline.

Later this month, Jason meets up with the rebellious teen after Bart makes contact with him, desperate for help as life on the run with girlfriend Sinead O'Connor (Stephanie Davis) has become too difficult.

However, as Jason and Bart's (Jonny Clarke) old bond starts to return, a jealous Sinead storms off - leaving the pair to face a dangerous situation alone.

"It all kicks off when they're in a farmhouse and Jason's excited at the thought of exploring the place," Atkin told All About Soap. "Unfortunately, that turns into trespassing and the owner of the farm captures them at gunpoint."

She continued: "The farmer storms in and questions whether Jason is a boy or a girl, which is really horrible. Bart tries to push past the man and gets thrown to the floor, where he cuts his head.

"They're stuck there with this furious, gun-toting farmer and Bart's bleeding. Jason ends up confessing his true feelings for his friend because he doesn't know if Bart's going to survive or not."

Jason was previously rejected by Bart in May, shortly after the wayward McQueen had almost kissed him.

The pair had a relationship last year when Jason first arrived in the village as Jasmine, but their union came to an end when the troubled teenager started to live life as a boy.

Will be kinda annoying with Jason there I'd imagine, preferred it with Just Sinead and Bart

To start with Jason is only there at first because he originally found out where Sinead and Bart were so he goes to Diane with his concerns;).

I'm really hoping Eileen sticks around, ironic that they've cast some people who can actually act in minor roles and there is people like Liberty etc who cannot act in regular cast roles:bored:.

bbfan1991 03-08-2011 03:49 PM

Jodi Albert who used to play Debbie Dean is having her first child with Kian Egan from Westlife:).

Yeah and she's pretty fit too :amazed: All the N.I ones can act well to be fair. Liberty is still the worst for me at the moment.

I think they are likely the best double act in a soap at present.
