I know there's no use in even replying to this, but this was all after Paulie told Natalie she's as fake as her boobs ("BUT SHE IS!!!" but he's also a huge douche), after she found out Paul made up the nickname FTs and was one of the main offenders after he repeatedly denied it, and after she realized that James pretty much tanked her game and she's frustrated with herself for letting him talk her out of her instincts.

IDK, I feel like I'm reading tweets from the Zaulie stans who insist Paulie is a firm but fair Christian Grey type who truly cares about Zakiyah.

Idk if he truly cares about Zakiyah or not but I didn't see any problems with how Paulie treated Zakiyah. People act like it was an abusive relationship. She gets easily jealous and what not and he didn't want to hear it. That was the basis of their problems. Maybe a bit uncaring but he never berated her or anything as far as I know. The jealousy is basically all he even criticized Zakiyah on I think? She was starting all the drama & arguing between them and he was not wanting to deal with that. He played emotionless in the game, or maybe he's just emotionless in general, but he was never disrespectful to her (like he got with Natalie).

:clap1: In the same way that people don't seem to understand why I dislike Natalie, I don't see how they can villainize Paulie so much.

Personally calling someone fake and using their body as a reference point is far less cruel than falsely accusing someone of sexual harassment. One is just words that are a little rooted in sexism and ignorance. The other one could've really affected Paulie's life, people's perception of him AND young viewers' understanding of sexual consent, something that really should NOT be tampered with like that.

As a true feminist I look at it from an even playing field, always. Accusing someone falsely of sexual assault is far worse that threatening someone physically in a tense game situation.

He's just an emotionless guy and rational thinker there's nothing wrong with that. I'm like that in relationships and like that in my partner too.

It's hardly body shaming? She chose to get fake boobs so it's like if she chose a shade of make-up. Not to mention he didn't degrade her for her fake boobs he just articulated how they worked as a metaphor for her personality. Quite accurate if you ask me.
