When I've been in England (about 5 times), everyone was shocked to see me and my friends kissing on the cheeks. It's common here. So it is in Italy.

On my official papers, yes I am French as I was born and currently live in France.
However, genetically, I'm not. My dad was born in Russia and my mum in Italy. :thumbs:

Oh and I forgot to mention that I do kiss my Russian uncles and cousins on the lips. It's tradition, it has nothing sexually related. We don't put tongues or anything (gross), it's a simple smack on the corner of the lips.

Yeah, sometimes we get unusual mixes but it's fun. People are sometimes surprised to hear my heritages, like nobody expects someone to be half-Russian and half-Italian.

I know someone whose dad was born in Croatia and his mum in Honduras.

I can confirm. English people aren't touchy AT ALL. It felt weird to me when I lived a whole month in a English family. But I like this kind of spirit too.
