We get it, you love superfans and hate recruits, you love Dan and Angie, you hate Brittnee, you love Sarah and Willow, you think idiots like Jason and Da'Vonne and Jordan and Kevin have played intricate games even though they all were humiliatingly booted early-mid season, you think there's a difference between a fan and a superfan and choose to remind us all even when it doesn't make sense in the context of a conversation. Get a new record, ya know? I think a lot of people avoid coming to these sections of the forum regularly just so they're not subjected to the **** you two post.

And is John not a generic white male? I think Austin's more of a rare find than John

Okay, so how come BB17 gets that much less attention here than BBCAN3, when we were way more engaged in that season? I was hoping for a more educated evaluation if i'm honest, not another opportunity to bash your two least favorite members lol.

And well too me a generic white male has ideals engrained in him about women, society, work etc and to me, John delivers much more as a houseguest. I don't think he's particularly interesting or deep, but I don't think anyone from this cast apart from James and Da'Vonne were. The way he talks, he comes across more educated about society and its structures, and that's one of the main reasons I don't see him as a generic white male. Also the fact that he hasn't engaged in any showmances etc.

John, Jeff and especially Clay fit to that mold much more. Steve at a stretch, but not really.

I don't think he's generic where his personality/interests are concerned. That being said, he comes across very generic in the way he speaks to women, the way he articulates his 'masculinity', the way he talks quite often in a crude way about a variety of different topics.

He's deeper than John in many senses but I do find him to be more engrained in social structures, than John is.

Lol what does that possibly achieve in terms of good discussion?

I thought you cared about issues of social structures/race etc Hayden, which is why I'm particularly surprised by your response! Stop hating, spread the love :)

Well that's a bit OTT and a dick move :umm2:
It's nothing to do with us i'm afraid :) people find the forum boring/people get banned for breaking rules..... I don't know why you have to attack us every opportunity you get and act like you've done nothing wrong. Well what you just said makes you the one in the wrong.

Get a new record? how about stop copying and pasting peoples favourites all the time and stop trying to attack the members you have a problem with?

i think your post are **** but i don't blame you for making members going away? like people have got jobs/uni and do other things then to come on a forum.

Raph is a great poster who is very intelligent :clap1:

Also to add to my previous post, you alone have more than double me and Luke's posts combined in this thread, so the hypocrisy is unreal

Yeah same, even during the season I reckon i've posted more in the BBCanada threads, it's such a flawed argument and really is just an attempt to belittle people, which I see no need for.

Because BBCan is generally better than BBUS, and some people were turned off by what a mess the BBCan subforum was at the time (and still is.) The forum kinda goes to **** when it's the same two people having the same conversations over and over again.

And I know you have this obsession with labeling posters you get along with and contestants you like as educated and ones you don't like as uneducated, but I don't see how anything John says or does proves him to be educated. On the TV edit he screams cue cards in the DR and sounds like an idiot, and on the feeds he's silent background fodder who doesn't say or do much. He's just wallpaper that the casual audience is loving bc duh, str8 white male. Like, audience keeps complaining about how annoying Liz and Julia's voices are yet they think John's DR voice is the funniest thing ever

Cool, thanks for asking! I definitely see your point as well in terms of Austin being an inherently more interesting/unique person than John! Are you supporting Austin this season, Cal? :)

Yeah same because that BB was enjoyable

and another thing, I was like 5 weeks behind so we have not discussed anything for ages :joker: just some excuse to attack us

Ladies put the handbags down and let's just appreciate the greatness of Jackie and Basic Becky instead

Yo yo don't be calling me a lady :nono:

But yes both queens! Basic Becky is probably my third favorite girl of the season. Now there is a good recruit casting, as there have been many. Gotta appreciate Day, Jason, James and Audrey too - the original minorities alliance

Just because you don't like John it doesn't make him 'generic'. At least find a valid argument against him if you want to hate on him that much, preferably not the predictably dull 'cue cards' one either.

this.

it's fine people dislike John but using profile favourites as an argument is a weak argument and it's not valid.

Is a dentist in his late twenties who is single and loves to play guitar supposed to be revolutionary casting? He's a dime a dozen.

If BBCAN is better than BBUSA, why have you statistically posted so much less there than in here? Also, the same two people? The amount of times you've written a 'Dan sucks' or 'I hate Derrick' or 'John is so loud in the DR and read cue cards', is ridiculous. Like can you really not see that?

You very rarely come up with something new to say, so if you want to criticize other people's posting so much, I would suggest analyzing your own, first. :)

I dislike John not only for his scripted shouted DR entries but because he does literally nothing outside of the DR, unlike say Da'Vonne who gave great DRs but also contributed a lot to the house (even if she wasn't a very good gameplayer)

LukeB 13-09-2015 10:13 PM

I won't be bullied out of the USA forum or the survivor forum

His occupation and age have absolutely zero correlation with his personality and presence/character in the house.

EspeonBB 13-09-2015 10:14 PM

This season is probably the best since BB11 even if I'm not totally invested in it tbh. Maybe BB13 is better but certainly not 12/14/16. It's kind of sad that production seemingly hate this season's cast and want more BB16-style casting :yuk:
