In Bruges - 8.5/10

I really didn't expect this to be as good as it is. It has everything really, action, comedy, great acting and a great storyline. Probably one of the funniest films I've seen actually even though it isn't a comedy.

The only complaint I've got about it really is that is should be about half an hour longer to explain some of the background characters a bit better

I thought it was better than good. I thought it was great! :)

Hmm... Recently...

Killer Elite: 7.5/10 A decent performance from everyone involved and based on true events.

Contagion: 7/10 Worth a watch. Matt Damon is very good as per usual.

Drive: 7/10 It would have received an 8/10 if it wasn't for the dire slow music in the background that almost sent me to sleep.

Abduction: 7/10 Great story but the acting was dire at times.

Deathly Hallows Part 2 again, don't think I'll ever get bored of it.

Eyes Wide Shut - So good that it has kept me up all night.

Usually I have an idea about where a story is going or at least have a theory or something, but I had no idea at all about this..

It is unreal how similar Tom Cruise's character is to Patrick Bateman (from American Psycho) aswell.. from the styling, lines, facial expressions, hair, personality.. they are almost the same character, except this guy isn't a serial killer.

Everyone over 18 needs to watch this film. It is weird as **** though.

I loved this movie and haven't seen it for so long that I need to watch it again. All I remember is the masks...

The Wicker Man ( 2006 version ) - Pretty **** really.. they could have made it so much better then him just wondering around some village for 90 minutes looking for his daughter

Josy 21-10-2011 01:58 PM

Ace Ventura
Mafia

Footloose remake.

Going to be controversial here... it was better than the original *runs*

Just seen this and I agree, heard a lot about it but wasn't sure how good it would actually be but it was an amazing film, loved the bit in the hotel at the end

Jords 26-10-2011 02:04 AM

Paranormal Activity 3... more funny than scary and ending wasnt explained 5/10

MTVN 31-10-2011 03:19 AM

Memento. It was good and really clever although I kept having to think to myself what was actually going on, what had happened before and how it all fitted in and stuff

'Conor 31-10-2011 10:00 AM

Paranormal Activity 3 - Terrifying and witty, brilliant.
9/10

Of Mice and Men - Brilliant storyline and great acting from the cast.
8/10

Shaun 31-10-2011 02:27 PM

Drag Me to Hell - I found it funny rather than scary. 6/10

Alfie (the remake) - terrible. 2/10

Tom 31-10-2011 02:36 PM

Paranormal Activity 3. Not even slightly scary but a little bit jumpy towards the end. About 4/10. Not much happens in it, its quite boring and I was in hysterics when all of the kitchen furniture disappeared and then fell down from the ceiling

Its kind of explained, its a prequel to the second one, in turn a prequel to the first. When they bring a fourth one out, I think it will be set later than the 3rd but before the 2nd. Teenage years maybe

Niall 31-10-2011 02:44 PM

Sarah's Key - A terribly sad story about a little Jewish-French girl who tried to save her brother being taken to the concentration camps in the Holocaust. It was so sad but it was really touching. I loved it. 9/10

fruit_cake 31-10-2011 02:59 PM

I was forced to watch 'the dark knight' I haven't a clue what was going on. On the plus side it had Heath Ledger and what's his name in it.

Locke. 31-10-2011 03:06 PM

The great Christian Bale
