Yes that would make total sense! The whole thing is going to be on some sort of spiritual/faith/higher being type level I think. I'm sure they're not dead and its not someones dream, that would be a real let down!
Yes Miles was really freaked out, when he came back to life again as well he looked really disturbed...I think he sensed something after he died as well though, with him being able to hear the dead, he was well spooked! I hope the real Locke comes back to life at some point somehow...he's probably my favourite character after Sawyer!

do you remeber who had what number? and what are the numbers again 6 is an evil number, 13 is an unlucky number and the only one I remeber was Hurley had 8 which is supposed to be a really lucky number and remember when he met Sawyer on the plane, he said he was the luckiest mn in the world??

4, 8, 15, 16, 23, & 42 are the numbers....I'm not sure if they all have links to all the numbers though? Because Locke was thrown out of floor 8 by his father...he was also in a wheelchair for 4 years...the others all have links to different numbers too! I read that one of them doesn't seem to have a number though (we find out in Ep 4!). Yeah the plane was weird because everything happened differently...like with Hurley being happy instead of feeling cursed, and Rose comforting Jack about the turbulence and not visa versa....
