This has been the most underwhelming BGT final ever...

Agree with this.

Though this year, without the singers the final would have been even worse :bored:

So happy Ronan didn't win, but Jean deserved it!

I'm just thankful not to hear much about SuBo or One Direction at the moment:shocked:.

If he went on XF everyone would just moan about him singing everything in that style though.

They would be breaking OFCOM regulations if that happened and would be deep in the ****, surely they wouldn't risk that?

Kerry 04-06-2011 09:04 PM

Ronans on More Talent now. He's not supposed to be tut tut

Locke. 04-06-2011 09:04 PM

Even when this kid is being nice I still feel like smacking him :bored:

Yeah, if it was a personality contest...

But its a talent contest, and all she did was play piano D:

I could imagine bagpipes in the background with Jai's voice - it's just got that depth to it

Kerry 04-06-2011 09:06 PM

LOL Simon had no idea they were going to count it down (not sure how true that is)

24 years old Winner

Kerry 04-06-2011 09:09 PM

Looks older than 24

I think Louis and Simon already have plans for Ronan, Jai sang well and was a wirhty winner on a rather poor night.

Les was nowhere near as good as the last twice we've seen him, Steven was okay but not my cup of tea at all, Ragy didn't connect with me tonight.

The view that singers should go on X Factor is a good one, having said that with what was put through to the semi-finals this time without the singers this would have been a very dire final to watch.
Well done Jai though.

Pyramid,A singer,Will Martin, from New Zealand did a song 'I and my Country' with like a Scottish/Irish sound to it, Jai doing that with bagpipes would be awesome.I am crazy about bagpipes.

When in Scotland, once I hear them I will stay and listen and watch the Band for hours.

I think Amanda Holden might just be one of my most hated women of all time.

Redway 04-06-2011 09:15 PM

Britain's Got Talent has been below-par this year, presumably linked to the loss of Simon Cowell. I'm predicting a peak of 11.7m (45%). Nate: sorry for throwing false accusations at you, yesterday. :)

Smithy 04-06-2011 09:15 PM

2.5% difference :o

yep, there's something touching about a modern kick with the bagpipes accompanying. (as opposed to ye olde fashioned bagpipes stuff) . I did think during the show, when the screens behind him opened up - that that was what was going to happen (rather than the crew in the white boxes i the background)
