Maybe the whole "people want to see normal people" reason for the low figure last time can stop. The people generally aren't like the forums and if anything want to see "Sexy models" etc. It's going to bomb next to the football, but so is everything else.

MeMyselfAndI 09-06-2014 10:56 AM

BB3, BB7 & BB11 didn't bomb next to the world cup, theres no reason for this season to

BB11 hardly did fantastic for its last series, and back then BB was event television... if it was still grabbing 4-5 million viewers per night then I'd agree with you

Drew. 09-06-2014 10:58 AM

Majority of the evening games kick off at 8pm and 11pm so if they stick to a 10pm slot then it won't do too bad.

You can't compare 3 and 7 to now and 11 wasn't great considering it was the final C4 BB.

Channel 5 had both Dirty Dancing (7th) and BB (9th) within the top ten most viewed programs last night

Really? Because last night was on par with BB14 first Sunday. Maybe it won't rate at 1.9m official like last year (1.48m overnights), but BB12-BB13 got 1.6m official (around 1.2-1.3m average overnights).

But they had a much higher launch figure.

Brilliant its clawed back half a million viewers :) I personally didn't enjoy the episode but im glad the ratings are up.

Hopefully tonight should rate well with the twist and noms should be a dramatic episode.

DigitalSid 09-06-2014 01:06 PM

Bad first few nights but good to see it's recovering quickly, hopefully they can build on that from here.

The calm before the storm, down to 500k soon

They are, it's like they're hoping BB gets cancelled. :p

JohnnyBB 09-06-2014 11:08 PM

With tonights events i susspect a growth in raitings!!

daniel-lewis-1985 09-06-2014 11:09 PM

Tomorrow will get good +1 ratings, Twitter will go mental over the argument and from the clips shown on BOTS its a big'un.

jackc1806 09-06-2014 11:11 PM

Didn't the Daley aftermath get 1.7m overnight? Imagine if we got that again :o

Samm 09-06-2014 11:14 PM

The Daley thing got like 1.9 didn't it

Yeah, hopefully word of mouth will give it a good boost... this looks like one of the best arguments in a long time

Its a ****ing brutal argument if they show it as it is Helen will be causing a lot of people to pick up their phones to get in touch with Ofcom.

#Standard.

I'm actually suprised, I knew something was bubbling but I didn't think it would be so... nasty

JohnnyBB 10-06-2014 12:48 AM

That awkward moment live suprise raits higher than the main show!

Shame it didn't kick off till after the break.

Break ends and all of a sudden theres 2 crazy women in the kitchen calling each other slags and fat bitches unedited lol.

No bird noise or anything, it was classic live feed.

Cant wait for the argument and hopefully people will tune into it tomorrow to see what happened. There was loads of "omg BB why did you turn live feed off when it was just getting good?!?!?!" Tweets.

They should have extended it and should always extend it to an hour when theres a big twist.

Rob! 10-06-2014 01:10 AM

High hopes for tonight. There wasn't really anything to stand in BB's way of coming second in the slot throughout.

daniel-lewis-1985 10-06-2014 01:32 AM

Woah major competition for the first eviction!!!
