He said he is taking a break but there is no plans for his return and he didnt specify how long he would be gone which makes it seem a long term thing

Denver 07-06-2019 07:11 PM

Doesnt look like Iain is returning

Amy Jade 07-06-2019 07:14 PM

That post makes it seem like he is coming back though because he wants the jacket hung up for a while, mentions only the summer and end it with 'until next time...'

Vanessa 21-07-2019 12:21 PM

Catching up on Casualty. Michael Stevenson is such a fine actor

Headie 21-07-2019 10:17 PM

Connie needs to swallow her pride and stop blaming others before she gets lots of patients killed

i'm 2 months behind and I can't say I'm too fussed about being spoilt (I knew full well to be spoilt coming into this thread), but I'm a tad miffed about WHY so many great characters are leaving. I mean, I understand a vast majority are voluntarily quitting, but it does hurt a tad knowing once I catch up this week, another one of my favourites will be gone </3

Moving filming from London to Wales has probably tempted a few to leave tbf

Vanessa 21-07-2019 10:41 PM

Ian is only taking a break. He's coming back.

It was filmed in Bristol before it moved to Cardiff, not London.

It only makes sense for the Year of the Paramedic to end with Miss Dixie?

It’s a scream that this year is ‘year of the paramedic’ and so far 1 has left, another is leaving, 1 goes out in the field once every 4 months and the other is like sweet and all but totally not tough enough for the job

Denver 10-08-2019 10:16 AM

I love Ethan but I agree that he was a **** clinical lead. Not sure how they’re gonna fill the job though, will be interesting to see if they bring someone new in or get an existing character. I don’t know if anyone’s qualified enough?

I guess it's possible because it was sa quick exit but Casualty have a history of characters randomly going with little or no warning in advance and not returning

Denver 10-08-2019 10:30 AM

I'd Love Jac to move to casualty and take the role but I doubt it

I only just saw this but, yeah :laugh2:

Is this really what they meant?

They're lucky I like Ruby (and Jan but as you said she only gets involved every blue moon) because if she was a weak character I'd be tempted to not watch!
