That's what's so annoying. It has all of the ingredients of a brilliant storyline.

It's off the back of a long running three year murder plot so it's not a story that's sprung up out of nowhere. It involves most of the longer serving cast members. It's brought in some new cast members with great potential, and also had a great mystery element to it. And it's also being used to drag the show into the modern day and shake up the sets.

Yet.... SOC made it dull and then stupid in equal measure.

I hope Yorke extends her contract and gives her a good plot.

I think it has? Wasn't she only on like a three month one and she's been here ages

Yeah, it was extended to six months (ending in October IIRC). I want her as a permanent character.

Her apartment was lovely too.

All I can picture is Kathy doing her Catherine Tate's Nan voice ordering cocktails on a beach.

Remember when Fi offered to buy everyone champagne last week, Kathy was halfway through the bottle before she'd even paid for it.

Still waiting for her alcoholism plot.

Linda's cancer plot was a ****ing waste as well

Imagine giving someone cancer and then getting rid of it whilst they were off-screen
