Yeah that's true, I feel like every year when I pop into the forums it's usually a series revolving around one person (Iain Lee this year, right?) who the campmates hate and TIBB usually loves because they are Polarizing or a Wind up Merchant or something like that.

But for whatever reason I still hold IAC up in the same regard as The Best non-BBUK British reality TV show. Probably all just off of reputation?


I didn't really pay attention much this episode but it seemed kinda boring tbh. I feel like we've just been getting the same content all week from Sam, Tyler, and Swaggy. Like somehow BAYLEIGH is probably the next biggest character in the episodes???

Yeah it was Iain last year, Martin Roberts the year before that, and then Lady C before him (though that year, 2015, she had a load of other people to bounce off which made it much better). Also, ~spoiler alert~, the recent winners ALWAYS fit the same mould - a 'likeable' female reality star that gets to narrate the series. You can pick a winner from day two and that's boring

I'm a Celeb is definitely the most popular British reality show (if we discount talent shows), so maybe that's why? I mean it's a winning formula so I get why they never change it - the hosts are national treasures, the casts are never too 'nasty', there's always one or two household names, the trials are popular, etc etc. It shouldn't be as big a ratings-winner as it still is, because for all we complain about BBUK's format being messed around with too much, IAC literally hasn't changed in about eight years :shrug:

I think it's a possibility it could happen too as it wouldn't be out of the ordinary for her to return after exiting the house first. It's just if BB knows what's good for them and has her as a robot on eviction night :joker:

So predictable that the veto wasn't used, the traditional way of playing safe is so boring, it's like people have an excuse of doing that early on in particular, but then it continues for quite a while. But it's actually a good way to gain an ally and make the HoH pick another, so it makes more sense to use the veto more often.

With the uncertainty before as they called it a 'bonus life' they had to make it very clear in this episode it was only a chance of a bonus life. And that' s definitely nowhere near as good, particularly if she has to battle against someone who's good at whatever competition it is.
