We shouldn't become so used to him breaking the rules that we allow him to do so without reproach.

Oliver_W 16-07-2020 04:42 PM

For sure, but when every little thing is called out then it becomes white noise.

Remember how SoggyBiscuit or whatever her name was, that permabanned member, she made several threads a day about Corbyn,to the point where a merged "Biscuit's Corbyn Thread" was made? So then mundane crap like him not talking to an annoying journalist was lumped in with his connections to dodgy people.

Obviously Corbyn's behaviour hasn't been as ...questionable... as Trump's, but in both cases slinging everything that comes up makes it easier to ignore the big stuff.

If Corbyn broke the law as frequently as Trump does, then every instance of such would be important. You can't just stop talking about wrongdoing because it might become boring to people.

You're basically saying we should sweep it under the table and that only benefits him.

Trump ramps up the fascism.

It’s what he wants, he’s desperate to be a wartime president, even if he’s gonna end up as the confederate president in the process

Hopefully, by the time November comes around, he'll continue to bleed support to the point that it'll only be the crazies that are left. If things continue as they are, I think a lot of republicans will be turning their backs on Trump because they'll prefer to keep their seat over keeping a badly behaved puppet in the white house.

Then again, that depends on stupidity not reigning supreme so I wouldn't hold my breath.

The test he took was a test to detect defects after a stroke medical events like a stroke, the fact he thinks the questions were hard should worry people, he’s clearly unfit for the job

His whole schtick this cycle has been to try and make out Biden is in the throws of dementia, and even a fox news poll today, said that Biden was stronger mentally than Trump, which leaves his only attack meaningless.

arista 19-07-2020 06:38 PM

Trump on FoxNews now
Sunday Show with Chris Wallace is saying Biden is bringing back abortion
and he believes the Economy is growing now under him.

I'll watch that later. The US markets are fine, the economy is in a recession but Trump probably wont know or understand the difference.

Sure thats possible.

arista 19-07-2020 06:55 PM

Towards the End of the show
7:50PM (2:50PM USA time)

Trump has said he will have to see if the Election is rigged?

The Very End of Chris Wallace show
was on the subject of the Dead Hero John Lewis.
The 1965 Police attack on the black march
Chris had interviewed John last year.

Whoever decided it was a good idea for Trump to sit and talk with a competent reporter is going to get sacked

Oliver_W 19-07-2020 08:19 PM

Sad thing is to a casual observer, "Biden has dementia" might stick, because he's (frankly) old looking and sometimes loses his place when he's talking. This is even more amplified by Trump being so bombastic and self-assured.

Trump doing so awful at that test will pass under the radar to casuals, and be ignored by his fans...

Fox news poll said Biden is more capable mentally than Trump. If a fox poll is saying it, then the other polls will reflect that in a much bigger way.

Interesting...

When you say poll, was it a viewer vote thing?

Not a viewer poll specifically (although a chunk of their audience will naturally be involved), but it will be a conservative weighted poll.

Blimey :joker:

Neither candidate has sterling results, these two are the definition of slim pickings!

Did you watch the Wallace interview today? These interviews are hurting him more than helping him because he doesn't really know anything. He needs to do what Biden is doing and stay out of the way, but because he's so far behind he can't.
