Its disgusting what has happened and the policeman has been arrested and rightly so , but I don't think smashing and setting fire and endangering other people helps the cause at all, its not other peoples faults , there are rogue cops but not all of them are the same , plus those shops etc are nothing to do with it , I hope the cops involved get the book thrown at them,utterly disgusting and disturbing to see, I just don't think rioting helps at all .

"Start shooting" is a moronic thing for him to say, but riots shouldn't be allowed to run unchecked. Rubber bullets, smoke, water ... other forms of crowd control would be more appropriate.
