shame, they had much much better, in one of the strongest Dora editions to date

I feel like it could be a grower though. With a few more listens.

Benjamin 03-03-2025 04:40 PM

I think my fave so far is Finland

Benjamin 03-03-2025 04:47 PM

It’s a lovely traditional song. Or is it the high pitched lady you don’t like?

I don’t know. It’s just really full on, i get whiplash listening to it

Nicky91 04-03-2025 07:15 AM

for me currently

1. Germany
2. Ireland
3. Slovenia
4. Latvia
5. Montenegro

Nicky91 04-03-2025 07:17 AM

Dobrodosli is a good ballad and i am sure Nina will perform the hell out of it in May, i am curious about the end product though, if she could make this song instrumentally wise slightly stronger

but this deffo is one of the few normal entries this year, and in native language (that'll help too in the semi) unlike 2022 where Vladana made the mistake singing hers in english instead of montenegrin

Benjamin 06-03-2025 06:26 AM

I found myself loving Estonia’s entry more and more.

Nicky91 06-03-2025 06:49 AM

I like it, but I can’t see it pulling in enough points to win.

Nicky91 06-03-2025 03:45 PM

Franz Ferdinand ''Hooked'' would've fitted into this years line up so nicely though

with other filth entries like Ich Komme, Milkshake Man, Kant

but BBC better remain hypocrites and go with christian pop bitches Remember Monday :fan:

We don’t know what their song is yet, and Franz would never want to do Eurovision.

they'd do fab at Eurovision though

Hooked would have mid table jury appeal and top 10 televote appeal

meanwhile i hope Erik ******* Segerstedt is winning Melodifestivalen tomorrow night

SHOW ME WHAT LOVE IS, swedish coldplay!

Oh excellent. Intrigued to see what we end up sending

Liam- 06-03-2025 09:51 PM

Our apparent entry is already on twitter and it’s actually pretty decent

I heard a clip. Doesn’t sound as country as i was expecting

Benjamin 06-03-2025 11:26 PM

Its here! And I quite like it. I don’t think it’s a winning song, but it’s hopefully a top 10.

Nicky91 07-03-2025 07:38 AM

boring and in generic english

last place material LOL LOL

also hypocrite UK, complaining about Malta's entry, and having a song with Hell in it yourselves

:laugh3:

Nicky91 07-03-2025 07:47 AM

UK entry in scores

Authenticity: 0.0
Song Quality: 0.0
Lyrical Composition: 0.0

Dated, could've been a random filler track on a average elton john album but so obscure you wouldn't even know it is there

Vocals been there done that, by OG3NE (Netherlands 2017) way better too by our ladies btw

the whole melodic flow is non-existent, no potential whatsoever for any good stageshow around it

double zero points yet again incoming LOL :laugh2:

Nicky91 07-03-2025 07:56 AM

with all these fails

i really now hope San Marino makes the right choice tomorrow night, they could do a top 10 with one of Luisa Corna - Il Giorno Giusto, Pierdavide Carone - Mi Vuoi Sposare? or hopefully Marco Carta will be serving even better with Solo Fantasia (he's been keeping it a secret it seems until tomorrow's show) but i hope the former, Luisa really could've done well in this years sanremo either i think with that gorgeous song and she would be inspiring for many 50+ women across the world that you can still deliver quality music and that age is only a number

Nicky91 07-03-2025 08:12 AM

shame the BBC couldn't rig their internal selection for an act like Franz Ferdinand

or going the veteran train again like 2012-2013, and approach a legend like Martin Fry & ABC

no they come up with these cheap talentless losers :idc:
