We all know Christmas is the best time to release a "Best of" CD because Nanas everywhere love an impulse purchase at the Target registers. So in other words, I have no hate directed at Britney for dropping her "Singles" album with only one new track on it.

I guess the reason for this little Brit-riff is that it looks like she is getting ready to drop all new material this spring. According to her record label Jive the singer is eyeing a May release for her seventh studio album, which includes collaborations with Fernando Garibay (Pussycat Dolls "Bottle Pop" and Lady GaGa's "Dance in the Dark"), David Guetta, Danja (Madonna's "4-Minutes"), Sean Garrett (Beyoncé's "Diva" and "Ring the Alarm") and the brilliant Max Martin, who has penned some of her biggest hits ever!

Ooh, May? Better be the 10th.. that's my birthday :P

Bought Circus Fantasy today and it had a cd with KTL and a Circus remix on it! Also got another Curious (my third bottle).. lovee it! :) If I had to rate all the Britney perfume I own I'd say Curious>>Midnight Fantasy>Fantasy>Believe>Hidden Fantasy>>Circus Fantasy

I'M so happy we finally getting a great album don't get me wrong I love circus but Blackout is just pure quality, can not wait blackout 2.0 is what fans want and it looks like we getting it. And A May release is great there's not much out then Christina comes out February I beleive so it gives time for het album to grow, Then britneys in may and you know what new album = Tour we prob won't see a tour though untill early 2011 which is cool.

M X 20-11-2009 03:10 PM

Fans don't want a Blackout 2.0. I want something more like up-tempo songs like Gimme More but more like experimental songs like 'Shadow'.

*Movember (a portmanteau of the words ‘Moustache’ and ‘November’), is an annual month-long event involving the growing of moustaches during the month of November. The event has been claimed to have been invented in 1999 by group of Australian men from Adelaide.

Since 2004, the Movember Foundation charity has run Movember events to raise awareness and funds for men’s health issues, such as prostate cancer and depression, in Australia and New Zealand.*

Got my The Singles Collection CD+DVD edition today. The DVD is crap and so cheapy and I don't see how the songs on the CD are re-mastered. There's no difference at all, meh.

MrGaryy 21-11-2009 04:59 PM

the whole project is ridiculously pointless, she should have just disappeared until her next album.

Sophii3x 21-11-2009 05:02 PM

Yea, seems it was just a way for Jive to make more money from her.

I'm getting thee box set Monday.

And micheal you may not want a blackout 2.0 but I do and so alt of other fans, blackout is her best album imo, in The zone is another great album. Also I hope Jive Are better with release dates tgis time they were piss poor for Circus, and hope the write tracks are put on the album, circus binus tracks would of made circus better if on the normal eddition. Also her promtion needs to be huge this time again very piss poor for circus only reached NO.4 Even Blackout went NO.2 with no promo.

So that what I want Great Promotion and Heavy Promo = Huge album sales and go no.1 ect

Could she just disappear full stop and sort out her life then come back, learn to sing so she can can combine that with that with her performance skills?

Then she might be worthy of all the fans she has and the acclaim they heap on her.

M X 21-11-2009 11:28 PM

Most fans don't want Blackout 2.0. I love it so much, but it was all about sex & clubs.

MrGaryy 21-11-2009 11:33 PM

I would say most do. I do and I've yet to hear of many who don't tbh.

^to Red, what would be the point in that. She doesn't write her own material anyway nor does she have really anything to do with her music or her voice. Disappearing for a long period of time wouldn't bare much professional benefit seeing as all she has to do between albums is mime on a few TV shows and shoot videos. Personally though it would be great for her, I imagine she will after this album though as her Jive contract will be up. Maybe that's why she's rushing it so, to get out from under them ASAP.

The point is she is a human being and not a commodity. She needs to do what is right for her and not what other people want and demand all time.

well over the mainstream of fans and not just those Hurricane messes on Exhale I haven't heard many unexcited by the prospect of a Blackout sounding album.

001steven 22-11-2009 09:06 AM

Well I have and few of my freinds are to,

Do you think she will leave jive? People are saying Warner are interested in her don't know if it's true

M X 22-11-2009 10:37 AM

I'm just saying, that the majority of fans on Exhale, Expose, Planet B everything.. say that they would rather have an album of experimental songs like 'Mannequin', and 'Shadow'.

001steven 22-11-2009 11:03 AM

Yeah of course I would like that to but I think she needs to do a more urban album, but I like anything britney does, just hope jive buck up there shoes and have heavy promo

M X 22-11-2009 11:22 AM

Blackout was pretty urban but I would hate to see Britney working with Chris Brown and The-Dream etc.. that's not her, that's not why we all love her. It's people like Max Martin, Bloodshy & Avant, Darkchild etc.. and could still either be a Blackout 2.0 or a Britney control album! :D

Barbie 22-11-2009 12:30 PM

I loved blackout it was what got me into her stuff, before that Toxic was on similar lines to blackout

Blackout felt different to the rest of Britney's music, very electronica i want to see this stuff from Britney again but at the same time i don't think working with will.i.am, jay-z or chris brown or whatever would work, good artists but i don't think its Britney.

001steven 22-11-2009 09:15 PM

I'm just happy she's workng with Danja and guy who wrote toy soldior and hot as ice,
