It looks so much better now :flutter:

RichardG 06-06-2016 12:50 PM

I didn't realise the old studio was basically just a tent  it looks much more professional now

Will. 06-06-2016 12:51 PM

It looks amazing now, it literally kind of looked like a building site before.

Drew. 06-06-2016 12:53 PM

It looks a lot more professional

Lostie! 06-06-2016 12:55 PM

It looks great but this stuff always confuses me. Where do they enter / exit and are the crowd in the same spot as usual?

http://bigbrother.channel5.com/housemates

seems like there could be 12 housemates on launch night?

I think on the plans it showed both houses having stairs from the stage.

Someone said they usually have the wrong number on the website before the launch.

I think theres 14 chairs at the dining table anyway

Wizard. 06-06-2016 01:12 PM

looks a lot cleaner has Gus the binman moved from bridge street? :joker:

RichardG 06-06-2016 01:14 PM

I wish they would've took some shots of the house at that angle this year too :fist:

I suppose seeing the stage on launch will be better in the end tho

zakman440 06-06-2016 01:53 PM

Definitely no more house photos after the Diary Room:

Jack_ 06-06-2016 01:55 PM

Pathetic :bored: watch us not even get a house tour looool

Officially the worst pre-series build up of all time

Tbh the launch is a bit longer than normal so the extra 15-30 mins were getting there's easily time for a house tour.

zakman440 06-06-2016 02:00 PM

They really should have pushed the launch back a week tbh. It's already going to do badly in the ratings as they've barely promoted it and it's going up against ITV's Farage and Cameron EU Q&A, but they clearly haven't left themselves enough time to even finish the house either. It's a poor show that they're not even going to take any more photos once the construction is complete.

I dont know, I could see us getting a facebook video like a hour before show of rylan screaming around the house like a fairy, not great but atleast its something.

They're launching the best time possible. They are giving themselves 3 days to build before the Euros. If it launched next week when the Euros are on there was even less hope.

I expect there's gonna be more housemates than ever too though (I predict 18), and let's be honest, they'll find a reason to use the extra time to waste on some showgirl routine and then a MASSIVE BOMBSHELL that will ROCK THE HOUSE TO ITS VERY FOUNDATIONS

The thing is, a lack of a tour will just be the final straw. Even if we get one, I still want pictures, not just for nostalgia reasons but because it's the nicest the brand new extension is ever going to look. And I doubt they'll bother releasing any after the launch

It's just shoddy planning all round

Wizard. 06-06-2016 02:07 PM

I agree that the buld up has fallen very flat, Timebomb had a much better build up but look how that turned out, this kind of feels like CBB where it just kind of appears on the tv.

Pete. 06-06-2016 02:07 PM

2 hours launch :clap1:

Well LI has been on a roll personally. Their promo really worked so it confuses why C5 are struggling so much.

Rylan didn't even turn up at Radio 1!! That's potentially 4-5m listeners and the best promo but he didn't go... wtf

The house pictures fiasco has been silly but I'm still more excited for the actual series than I was for BB16, BB17 just feels a lot more intriguing whereas I was mostly apprehensive about what the Timebomb theme would entail.

And of course the much better trailers and excitement to see the new set on TV etc. They've mucked up in areas this year for sure but my general excitement for the series is still higher than it was last year.
