They really believe that Trump won, that he is there to save them from oppression and that they have a noble cause that is being stamped out and they are genuinely distressed.

They've been radicalized by their own president and now it's falling apart. He's ruined these peoples' lives .

It's like the people that believe the Earth is flat. I've been down the rabbit-hole on YouTube, and looked at some of their videos, and they really do believe (and can offer up 'proof') that it is a huge worldwide conspiracy to cover up the Earth's true nature. They are not simply trolling.

Imagine 4 people are dead today because some billionaire is a bad loser. Absolutely vile

It's not that simple.
America has changed, that Clinton woman
was not a leader
the Democratic Party picked the wrong one
to run against Trump in 2016.

...it’s exactly that simple, Arista...to place any blame on Hilary Clinton for the events of yesterday is completely fake news, as the saying goes...

Stop. Democrats are not to blame for Trump. Trump won the republican primary easily, and he received a record number of votes after 4 years of stoking racism and stealing children.

Maybe use what happened to work out where your constant anti-immigrant rhetoric leads you and the rest of us, in the end.

And how is it her fault that this has all ensued?

She's still entitled to be addressed by her actual name.

The blame for losing the 2016 election may well fall on the Democrats for choosing such a crappy candidate, but she nor the party are to blame for Trump's actions.

Are you actually blaming Hilary Clinton/The Democratic party for Trump's behaviour and incitement of violence? Really?

for putting up the wrong leader.

But what does the Democratic Party putting up Hillary Clinton and losing in 2016 have to do with the attack on the capitol, 5 years later...?

Maybe blame the Republicans for putting up Trump.....you know the guy who is directly responsible for these riots and deaths and trying to breakdown democracy? Your logic is frankly bizarre, it's the democrat's fault for not winning last time, I mean ffs Arista

You and his voters supported trump though. You/they wouldn't have supported a different dem candidate. You all loved him, don't try to pretend that wasn't the case.

I don’t understand your logic because you’re implying that democrats losing in 2016 was the build up to Republicans attacking the Capitol yesterday...?

And who's to say he wouldn't have caused similar riots in 2016 had he lost? Why would he have been a gracious loser then but not now?

He said (or implied) before the 2016 election that he would challenge the result in the courts if he lost.

The guy has a history of saying votes that don't go his way, are rigged.

Also I think taking the same case back to court repeatedly.

Well there you go. I think it's pretty obvious no one else is to blame for this narcissistic, megalomaniac's behaviour

1+1 adds up

Trump had said he wanted a coup at capitol building, and his supporters have a history of literally following him with anything

i also saw on CNN that Trump specifically said January 6th as a day of reckoning, if he didn't say any of this, this whole attack wouldn't have happened

so he and he alone is to blame for this, and with there being 4 deaths, Trump got blood on his hands

Yes Trump was a Change
America needed a Change.
Like the UK needed Brexit.

But Now he has lost
and has the chance of being pardoned by Pence
if he takes the 25th amendment
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Twenty...s_Constitution

bots 07-01-2021 01:01 PM

trump basically fostered the belief that all votes for dems were fraudulent and that the only way he could lose an election was through fraud and his supporters believed him because they all went to his rallies where he talked **** and they all had a racist party
