The Palestinians tend to be highly educated compared to much of the Middle East. All 19 Gaza universities have suffered severe damage with 80% of university buildings destroyed but even during this obliteration of schools, colleges and universities, the Gaza people strive to continue their studies.

Ismail Haniyeh was a key interlocutor in the Gaza ceasefire negotiations.

"But it had a Hamas in it" is rapidly becoming one of the most braindead phrases of 2024.

During 2020 Colonel Douglas Macgregor was hired by Trump to serve the senior advisor in defence.

I've been watching and listening to his podcasts for some time, but this is the first time I've heard him talking about the grave risks of nukes. He's worth a listen as this guy really knows his stuff.

So we are told, but because they won't let any international reporters in and only get told this by those doing the attacks, I take that with a pinch of salt.

Keep in mind, Gaza is a spec of land with one of the world's highest population densities. Most of the infrastructure has been destroyed and nobody can get in or out (without special authority from Israel). The people have nowhere to go and likewise, neither does Hamas (though I suspect they are underground in their huge network of tunnels.

Looks like war is no imminent.

Moment Kamala Harris SNAPS at anti-Israel protesters as they hijack her rally - before issuing them ultimatum
https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/art...s-detroit.html

Quote:

There were 15,000 people spilling out of a hanger at the Detroit airport, the biggest crowd yet of Harris' presidential campaign.

And when a group of Gaza protesters started yelling at her, Harris snapped.

'If you want Donald Trump to win then say that. Otherwise I am speaking,' she told them as her supporters cheered her on.

Harris experienced the first pro-Gaza protesters of her presidential campaign when a group of them slipped into the event to heckle her from the sidelines.

'Kamala Kamala, you can't hide, we don't want no genocide,' they chanted.

At first Harris downplayed the interruption to her speech. 'All good,' she said.

The crowd yelled 'Ka-ma-la, Ka-ma-la' to drown them out.
I hate what our politics has become.

Don't talk about this, that or that other thing or else! Let us just slip in and get re-elected... it's what we've been doing for several decades and it always worked out just fine, OK?! #justvotenormal

[I hate what our politics has become.]

Harris still must do
a one-on-one new interview
as I am getting sick of the crowd
it is like watching WWE.

Fast Forward all the Crowd

It really does defeat the point of campaigning if that is the fixation. Woo hoo, everyone loves me, big deal... they're obviously already voting for you, though? Where is the focus on who the person actually is relative to the individual voter vs their actual policies (and will their record show they actually hold that dear)? Is it now more important what the crowd size is and how enthusiastic everyone is being portrayed? If that's how we're going to judge this contest, then Trump's rallies should've given him a bigger edge, because he's sustained "enthusiasm" without the media support and acceptance in the mainstream.

Because it is such a personality contest now, I think that more voters are being blackpilled than not. Kamala did need a personality injection but the only substance seems to be "I'm not Trump" aka everything he does, I'm doing the complete opposite and no way my demeanor will be remotely Trump-like while in office... and she's saying that basically to the protesters, she's the non-Trump candidate and there's not going to be much dialogue from her other than that, just vote for her. At least with Trump we know who we were voting for. Who knows what kind of President she will actually be.

I'm struggling with that logic.

"I don't know what that sandwich is going to taste like, so I'm just going to chomp down on this dog**** instead because at least I know it'll be disgusting."

Do you like what politics used to be?

Kamala seems as slimy as any other politician, but that's all she is - any old politician.

I don't think Trump fans found the Trump presidency painful though. For ne what it seems like they forgot, is that he didn't do even 20% of what he promised to do as President. Not unusual for politics of course but I have no idea where the confidence that "THIS TIME he'll sort everything out" comes from :joker:. If he gets in, he won't do anything!

The Slim Reaper 08-08-2024 01:05 PM

His only real goal is to protect and enrich himself. Anything else, and he's not really arsed.
