Also, my sister at the very end during the silent credits "Ugh, I told you that veil was horrid". :fan:

Imagine someone dived in to the pool right at the start of the next episode and the two of them miraculously survived

Vincent returns next week with Pearl but no Kim, it just gets ****ing worse. A list of female they need to bring back to sort out this mess:

Claudette
Pam
Zsa Zsa
Chelsea Fox
Ruby Allen
Janine (not until we get a new producer or she'll be killed)
Zainab
Belinda Slater
Dawn Swan

Jack looked really hot as a groom though. Gotta give credit where it's due.

Firewire 01-01-2017 07:23 PM

Yes because Dawn Swann will save the show

I was thinking this, not sure that Roxy would but Ronnie wasn't under the water for to long?

Rob! 01-01-2017 07:24 PM

I'm literally so annoyed

Natalie. 01-01-2017 07:24 PM

Such crap deaths too, if you're going to kill them then do it better than that :worry:

Ross. 01-01-2017 07:24 PM

So what happens to Matthew

He'll go back to Charlie I presume

Denver 01-01-2017 07:25 PM

One thing for certian is that Jack takes forever to read a story

Firewire 01-01-2017 07:25 PM

I'm so mad

I normally defend the show but I honestly cannot defend any of it tonight

Will. 01-01-2017 07:25 PM

Ugh it's gonna be sad when Amy finds out what that her mum and auntie have died.

Ross. 01-01-2017 07:25 PM

Oh I liked Charlie before Ronnie took his balls so he can come back for Dot

Firewire 01-01-2017 07:26 PM

I quite liked the filming during the dancing but I hope it doesn't happen often

Pete. 01-01-2017 07:26 PM

What happened in the alternate ending?

I thought this too, I also wondered why Whitney didn't give a **** that her husband had left the reception.

EastEnders just killed off Ronnie and Roxy Mitchell in heartbreaking scenes, but did you spot the series of sneaky Easter Eggs that show bosses included in the episode?

The BBC soap's hour-long New Year's Day special was full of nods to the Mitchell sisters' past, but with the drama stakes so high, you may well have missed them.

Here's the full set, as confirmed by EastEnders themselves:

1. 'Club Tropicana'
Okay, so this one wasn't in tonight's episode, but earlier in the week there was a scene of Ronnie and Roxy trying on different lipstick shades in Number 27 whilst listening to 'Club Tropicana'.

This is the first ever song they played on The Queen Victoria jukebox when they arrived for Phil and Stella's wedding.

2. 'If I Could Turn Back Time'
On the day of the wedding, the classic Cher anthem could be heard in the background as Roxy got Ronnie ready. Ronnie sang this by Danielle's graveside as she mourned her long-lost child.

3. Routemaster Bus
The Mitchell sisters have never had much luck when it comes to nuptials, but going back to one of their happier times was Jack and Ronnie's first wedding in 2010.

The wedding party all hopped on board a Routemaster bus (contributed by Alfie Moon) and headed off to their hotel wedding.

4. Archie's Signet Ring
Ronnie threw Archie Mitchell's signet ring in the bin.

5. The Girls Arrive
As Ronnie and Roxy drove up to the wedding venue, we saw some small nods to their original entrance to Albert Square in a taxi. From Roxy's leg getting out of the car to Roxy adjusting her dress…

"Yeah one sec, I don't want them falling out do I?" / "I think my boobs are gonna come out"

6. 'The Square. Under new management'
During the wedding, there was a party montage with the guests dancing away, Ronnie and Roxy spraying their guests with a soda siphon, and of course, Calvin Harris's 'The Girls' playing in the background.

This throws back to when Ronnie and Roxy first arrived and the 'Mitchell Sisters' trailer.

7. Champagne Bottle
As Ronnie left Jack in the bedroom to read the children a bedtime story, she grabbed a bottle of bubbly on her way out.
As Carl White knows, Ronnie and champagne aren't a good mix on New Year…

8. Rooftop Wedding
Ronnie and Roxy arrived in July 2007 for their cousin Phil's wedding to Stella Crawford.
Phil chased the bride up to a rooftop before she jumped to her death and though in different circumstances, Ronnie and Roxy head to the hotel rooftop with Ronnie in her wedding dress.

9. 'Aunt Sal' Impression
Ronnie did her impression of Aunt Sal again, this time replacing Christmas baubles with champagne bottles.

10. Ronnie's Locket
As we said goodbye to Ronnie Mitchell, we got a final glimpse of Ronnie's locket.

This is cute but I'm still fuming.

This producer seems to be obsessed with the girl in the refrigerator trope.
