YES PLEASE

Will. 28-01-2017 08:06 PM

That's actually a brilliant idea, secret twin storyline.

Heather, Pat & Pauline were among the worst decisions if you look at where the show is now (Shirley hasn't really got anyone outside of her family now that Jean's gone, I feel the Jackson's would have still been a thing if Pat was still around and then Pauline now that Michelle and Martin are back)

The show would feel much more complete with Pat and Pauline in my honest opinion, especially with SOC going down the "community" route.

Saying that though I disagree with bringing people back unless that was the plan to begin with (i.e. Nick Cotton)

Did Wendy Richards not quit through ill health and died the year later?

Oh I completely forgot she died (or that she quit, as a matter of fact - I thought she was quite bitter towards the show but maybe I'm thinking of someone else )

The 65-year-old, who has revealed that she is dying of cancer, quit over a proposed storyline in which her character, Pauline Fowler, would remarry.
In her first interview since she was diagnosed with the aggressive form of the disease, she said that her ill health had nothing to do with leaving the programme in 2006.
"Health had nothing to do with my leaving EastEnders," she said "I left because I wasn't happy. Also, I couldn't believe in what they wanted me to do and unless I can find some truth in what I am doing, I cannot play it."
She added: "Pauline remarrying was wrong. Some women never remarry. My mother never remarried after Daddy died. I always had it in my heart that Arthur was Pauline's husband and that was that."
Ms Richard, who rose to fame playing Miss Brahms in Are You Being Served?, said she had written her will and planned her funeral soon after the disease had attacked her kidney and spread to her bones.

I was wrong she quit because she hated the storylines proposed

Danny Dyer has hinted that he doesn't yet know if he'll be carrying on as Mick Carter in EastEnders.

His contract with the BBC soap runs out in October and it was reported in December that he was apparently set for a new contract as the lovable Queen Vic landlord.

But it might not be as simple as that.

"We'll have to see then [at the end of the contract]. Four years is a long time. It's been really rewarding but there's other stuff out there. I'd love to show other sides to me. I loved theatre and all that," he told The Sun on Sunday.

Looks like the end is coming to the carters

Will. 29-01-2017 12:53 PM

They messed up with the Carters.

They got far too many storylines in a short space of time.

After that ghostly Heather Trott comeback at Christmas, EastEnders star Cheryl Fergison has been thinking up more ways to get back onto the soap - and she's come up with another rather ingenious suggestion.

Heather Trott was shockingly killed off by Ben Mitchell unintentionally back in 2012 and her Christmas voiceover appearance last year marked the character's first appearance since then, which seems to have given actress Cheryl the EastEnders bug again.

Speaking on Loose Women, Cheryl reflected on her time on the soap and revealed a new idea: "It's a shame that Heather went - I keep suggesting I should come back as her twin sister."

She then added, in a distinctly Scottish accent: "I think she should be called Leather Trott from Scotland!"

Cheryl also opened-up about her cameo over Christmas, in which she appeared alongside Shirley on a tape discovered by Dot Branning in her launderette.

"This was just bizarre," the actress explained. "I was doing panto this year, but before I started I was lucky enough to go back to EastEnders and record with Linda Henry.

"It was quite sad and quite poignant, and we did this thing for Dot – she was leaving the launderette and she had a cassette that was us. On it, Heather was a great George Michael fan, so am I, and basically I was talking about George."

Me trying desperately to get a job teas
