Ukraine's military chief says 75 missiles have so far been fired in this morning's wave of attacks.

General Valerii Zaluzhnyi tweets that 41 of these were neutralised by air defences. The BBC can't verify this information, but our reporters on the ground have witnessed and heard several strikes in Kyiv this morning, with reports of many further explosions coming in from other cities around the country.

Sticks 10-10-2022 09:29 AM

Russia today Killed 10 people in the Capital.

Russian Missiles (Fired from outside Ukraine)

Then the Ukraine Army.

They (Ukraine Army)

arista 10-10-2022 06:05 PM

You are actually ridiculous.....you want to talk to the family of the UK aid worker whose body has been returned showing signs of extreme torture by the Russians about who is guilty of hate crimes.

It would be an amazing chess move if Ukraine and russia were in on this together. Putin and the actor, creating a check mate..

BBC Newsnight BBC2HD last night
had the MI6 former chief,
stated be careful what you wish for
any that take over from him are more Extreme
and even more Dangerous.

He can see no breakthrough.

The Winter may slow it down.

Yes that is usually the case, Putin will have been seen to fail because he was too timid and whoever comes in will pursue the war even more brutally

bots 12-10-2022 06:25 PM

it depends really, the population is turning on putin because there is no appetite for war in ukraine, so although it may be a hardliner that takes over, it doesn't mean they are set on a course of destroying ukraine. There are a lot of variables in the mix

Sticks 12-10-2022 06:33 PM

But Ukraine, during the Soviet era was part of Mother Russia, was it not?

Defeat for Russia would leave them pretty crippled though, worse than the 90s. I think a lot of people there fear that outcome

Given that answer, Zelensky has no business pretending to be leader of the Ukraine. The true and rightful president of the Ukraine is Putin, as the Ukraine is still part of Mother Russia.

You're probably right tbf.

It's kinda scary to imagine a more extreme action taken against Ukraine tbh.

But it's not the Soviet era anymore, Ukraine are an independent country that wants to stay as an independent country.

Who does Putin or anyone else for that matter think they are to dictate to another country what they are?
