Andrey Arshavin has risked the wrath of Gunners by labelling Liverpool fans the best in the world.
The Arsenal striker claims Russian fans should learn how to support their team better by taking lessons from Kopites.

He said: "Our fans need to learn from the English football supporters, and in particular from Liverpool fans."

Told that Chelsea star Yuri Zhirkov was awestruck by Manchester United fans after CSKA Moscow's trip to Old Trafford, Arshavin added: "It's only because he hasn't played against Liverpool yet."

hull is my home city, but up un till last season they've never been in the top flight.
as a kid you always support a top flight club, so i was a everton fan and now they're in my heart. i've been supporting them since the 1985 f a cup semi final against luton town, that was the first time i ever watched match of the day.

to answer your question - everton

Dolphin-and-Whale 17-11-2009 07:45 PM

Arshavin seems to say more nice things about us than Arsenal.

Quality Player,

Emmanuel Adebayor has insisted that he moved to Manchester City because he was forced out of the Emirates by Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger.

The striker moved to Eastlands for £25million in the summer and has stated that Wenger advised him to move north.

You're sure to hear a lot about Panathinaikos starlet Sotiris Ninis over the coming months. The winger is a potential rising star of next summer's World Cup, should Greece overcome Ukraine in Wednesday evening's qualification play-off, and is certain to be a target for the Premier League's big guns. In fact, the likes of Liverpool, Arsenal and Manchester United have already been linked with a move for 19-year-old in recent weeks - along with AC Milan and Real Madrid.

Cesc Fabregas has reiterated his desire to win trophies at Arsenal, but also admitted that he does not know what the future holds.

The Gunners captain is currently away on international duty with Spain where fresh rumours have surfaced regarding the 22-year-old.

Reports in Spain suggest that Sandro Rosell wants to use Fabregas as the figurehead of his bid to become the new president at Barcelona, with Joan Laporta set to step down at the end of the season.

Meanwhile, Spanish newspaper AS also ran an article claiming that Real Madrid were ready to launch their own bid for the former Barca youngster at the end of the season.

The midfielder refused to be drawn on the speculation and insists that he doesn't look too far into the future.

"Now I am very calm and without injuries," he told Spanish radio station Onda Cero.

"At Arsenal I am developing a good season and my dream is to win titles there.

"I have a great responsibility to my club and now is not the time to think beyond that."

Barcelona skipper Puyol feels for Arsenal’s Cesc over constant transfer talk

Barcelona captain Carles Puyol has sympathy for Cesc Fabregas over the constant speculation about his future at Arsenal.

For every international week, Cesc has spent the time denying reports that he will leave the Gunners for a return to either Barca or Real Madrid at the end of the season.

"He has his market value and you must pay a lot for a player of his level," said Puyol. "Even if he does come, I hope we pay only a bit. It is not easy for him to be talking so much because he is with a club, although it is clear that I would like him here because he's a great friend and one of the best players in the world.
