Hezbollah is a political organisation with a military force. They also have police and its the police who were carrying walkie-talkies, not the military force who use optical communication.

Israel have been bombing Lebanon since way before Hezbollah were formed. Just like Israel were attacking Palestinians decades before Hamas was formed, to protect themselves from Israel. Is there a common denominator in this, do you think?
