to be honest, i dont care who goes up or down, as long as Plymouth arent relegated
good luck Southend on promotion hopes
didnt you go up with Scunthorpe and Swansea from League 2? :conf:

Red Moon 02-01-2006 05:04 PM

yeah i know most teams that go up from league 2 struggle in league 1
eg. Yeovil

half time: Plymouth 0-0 Leeds

Red Moon 02-01-2006 05:10 PM

That's good news so far.

Sure do and Yeovil won the league 2!

Southend and Swansea and were 4th and 3rd respectively.

Mike 02-01-2006 05:12 PM

Good results for both my teams today.

West Ham 1-3 Chelsea
Huddesfield 0-0 Gillingham

sol 02-01-2006 05:15 PM

Torquay were unlucky to go down from League 1, at the expense of MK Dons surviving, and now theyre struggling in League 2 as well.
Im listening to Torquay's manager on Radio Devon now during half-time and hes fuming over the contaversial penalty that let Darlington win 3-2.
Apparently the ref sent off a guy from Torquay for abusive language, but hes a Muslim and doesnt speak English lol
No wonder hes fuming

sol 02-01-2006 05:34 PM

GOAL: Plymouth 0-1 Leeds

Cresswell (52)

Red Moon 02-01-2006 05:35 PM

Sorry to hear that but the is still time to get one back

yeah, hope so - almost equalised about 2 minutes after the Leeds goal, but Leeds have started to dominate :bored:

sol 02-01-2006 05:38 PM

GOAL: Plymouth 0-2 Leeds

Blake (60)

Red Moon 02-01-2006 05:41 PM

I noticed I watching the live text on the BBC website and now I'm listening to it on Radio Leeds.

Doesn't sound good for Plymouth at the minute!

sol 02-01-2006 05:44 PM

no, 1st half, you couldnt choose between the teams, but now Leeds are dominating, Plymouth have just made a substitution, Capaldi - i dont think it'll do much.

Red Moon 02-01-2006 05:47 PM

Leeds seem to have all the energy now, but Plymouth have got nothing to lose by attacking.

sol 02-01-2006 05:48 PM

yeah, how do you get to the live text on the BBC website?

Red Moon 02-01-2006 05:55 PM

From the home page select:

Sport

Football (at the left side)

Championship (at the left side)

select Plymouth from The Coca-Cola Football League Championship Table (right side towards the bottom)

Live Text (at the left side)

and you should end up here:

http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/foot...xt/default.stm

sol 02-01-2006 06:00 PM

cool, im there - good chance for Plymouth just then - came to nothing though

sol 02-01-2006 06:03 PM

GOAL: Plymouth 0-3 Leeds (Pen 86)

Red Moon 02-01-2006 06:08 PM

And Leeds are still attacking.

sol 02-01-2006 06:12 PM

Final score: Plymouth 0-3 Leeds

Red Moon 02-01-2006 06:13 PM

Better luck for next time sol.

BigSister 02-01-2006 06:23 PM

yer, it was on Sky Sports 1 wasnt it, shame cos now we've embarrassed ourselves infront of the whole nation

im not actually that annoyed, Leeds are a very good team, and its not that much of a catastrophy losing to 3rd in the table
as you say, better luck next time - v Norwich

Red Moon 02-01-2006 06:41 PM

And haven't you still got 2 games in hand over most of the other teams. Win those and you are in the middle of the table.

sol 02-01-2006 06:43 PM

yer, right you are, Leicester was abandoned when Home Park flooded, and Preston was postponed when the pitch froze
we were winning 1-0 over Leicester when it was abandoned, so hopefully we should get 3 points there. But im not so sure about Preston :conf:

BigSister 02-01-2006 06:44 PM

I live near Preston Sol and it was absolutely freezing that night Blackburn and Bolton got postponed as well
