Manning signing with Denver. what does this mean for Tim Tebow, and MTVN's future Tebow avatars?

MTVN 19-03-2012 07:45 PM

More avatars like this I think

http://forum.nfluk.com/attachment.ph...2&d=1331631955

Always said Tebow was rubbish anyway

Roy Mars III 21-03-2012 04:23 PM

Tebow going to the Jets...a bit odd

And Sean Payton suspended for a year for the player bounties thing

MTVN 21-03-2012 05:31 PM

Think a year is a bit harsh, most severe punishment ever given to a head coach i think and I doubt he's the only one to have done it, seems most were expecting a 4-8 game suspension

Definitely harsh, thought he'd only get half the season at most

King Gizzard 24-03-2012 12:31 AM

http://espn.go.com/chicago/nfl/story...barber-retired

seems a bit early to me, although don't know if he's just worn out or injured alot

what is the average retirement age?

Roy Mars III 24-03-2012 10:15 AM

not that early. Once you are past 30 as a RB, you are considered old

BBfanUSA 26-03-2012 12:11 AM

Okay I think Sean Payton deserves the whole season ban, He probably knew about the scandal and really did NOTHING about it until it was too late. I'm surprised they didn't vacate the Super Bowl Victory since that was within the time span. Player's lives were at stake.

And I think Drew Brees should be fined if not suspended. You not knowing about the bounty system and Jeremy Shockey, A TE that you threw to, is the Deepthroat that told the NFL? Hahaha, No

Personally The Who Dat Nation deserves these penalties. Watch Players are going to split as soon as they can in the next few years.

BBfanUSA 26-03-2012 09:12 PM

Hm...Bill Parcells as the internim coach for the Saints for a year. Yes I'm serious, Sean Payton is talking to him

BBfanUSA 05-04-2012 02:14 AM

Well The new unis have been released. Nike really just failed with these unis. Hardly any changes I heard but the Seahawks uni is turning heads. Looks like an Arena Football Uni.

Also Jets have signed a Aussie Rugby Star as a RB

King Gizzard 05-04-2012 02:17 AM

that guy played for the saracens here in england, only know that cause my brother semi-supports them :joker: can't stand rugby

BBfanUSA 10-04-2012 12:32 AM

Well, has anyone heard the tape that doomed Gregg Williams?

BBfanUSA 26-04-2012 03:18 PM

The Draft starts tonight!

MTVN 26-04-2012 03:20 PM

Not been following it much this year, guess that means it'll be more interesting though not knowing who'll pick who, looking forward to it

BBfanUSA 27-04-2012 01:36 AM

well, the worst kept secret in history

1st pick Luck to Colts
2nd pick RGIII (Heisman Winner) to Redskins

MTVN 27-04-2012 02:25 AM

ffs wait here all night and we go and trade our pick to the Pats

MTVN 27-04-2012 02:54 AM

...and now we trade to the Bucs, no first round pick for us then

how the **** did Kellen Moore not get drafted?

Also Saints are in more legal trouble, this time it's the GM.

According to ESPN Outside the Lines, Their GM had a phone line into the visiting teams' communitcation in 2003-4 during home games. This is illegal and violates federal law and a complaint has been filed with the FBI. The Saints GM has claimed that this is slander

Roy Mars III 29-04-2012 06:39 PM

Kellen Moore has signed with the Lions, what great stuff

BBfanUSA 05-05-2012 03:04 AM

Well 4 Saints players (2 that are no longer on the team) have been suspended by the league. The Players Union plans to fight the suspension.

Also in the news, Junior Seau killed himself. Played for NE and SD.

 wow I hadn't heard, poor bloke, RIP

BBfanUSA 05-05-2012 05:03 PM

What's odd is the fact that he never said that he ever had a concussion in his carrer.
In the autopsy of his brain. He had concussions, in fact a lot of them and there's speculation that these things lead to him killing himself.

Around last year a guy that was known to have symptoms of concussions in his football carrer, Killed himself with a gunshot to the chest (which Junior Seau did as well) and requested that his brain be donated to science. It was believed that the concussions caused him to kill himself.

Recently in America, there's recently been a discovery about concussions and dementia and having dementia can lead to dangerous and weird things. And This has been talked about alot of times in American Football at all levels

Here's the article I think it happened last weekend or Monday can't remember. I should've said something eariler, sorry
