Steven Gerrards goal yesterday was amazing! It looked like he was just crossing it in for someone to header it. It was absolutley AMAZING!

30stone 27-09-2009 02:23 PM

It was a cross for me anyway i think it was just lucky.

Chels 27-09-2009 03:07 PM

i agree with ben.

King Gizzard 27-09-2009 03:07 PM

Deffinetly was a fluke

Locke. 27-09-2009 03:08 PM

Cross or not, it's still goal of the season so far

King Gizzard 27-09-2009 03:09 PM

No it isnt lol, rodellega, assou ekotto, carlton cole, robbie blake all are better than that one

Sunderland have just scored a penalty by the way, Darren Bent 1-0

A fluke cannot be GOTS

30stone 27-09-2009 03:19 PM

He was a former Reading player no doubt he would score.
lol.

But were the penaltys correct desicions?

King Gizzard 27-09-2009 04:32 PM

Jones...an inconsisten young version of Drogba

Dolphin-and-Whale 27-09-2009 06:39 PM

Am i the only one who thinks the Giggs Hype this weekend is over the top. I think Fletchers through ball was the making of Berbatov's goal yet they all pointed to Giggs who just played a square pass. :conf:

King Gizzard 27-09-2009 06:41 PM

Yeah it is over the top...very much so

but he did change the game, with that cross and the free kick, but then again nani or valencia could of done it if they were on the pitch

Brad. 27-09-2009 06:42 PM

Yeah, I think hes always over-hyped

30stone 27-09-2009 06:44 PM

I think it is.

But i think Man utd definately perform better with him in the 11.

andyman 28-09-2009 01:04 AM

Giggs last season with Scum Utd?

setanta 28-09-2009 01:33 AM

Nah, disagree. They had a half and a bit to do something and they didn't show the poise or craft to change the game when they had numerous opportunities to do so. That's the difference. Nani was desperately poor on the day and Giggs continually proves his ongoing worth to the team with his sharp mind and ability to try and create chances. Valencia is a good solid winger but Nani really flatters to deceive, and lets not forget how much he cost and how long he's been there.

Johann 28-09-2009 03:31 AM

Sorry, but Nani is utter rubbish. Rooney and Berbatov must have been praising the heavens when he was taken off for Giggs, because his decisions in the final third are awful; he hasnt got a good footballing brain tbh. Just a good shot that occasionally hits the target.

if Utd lose Giggs and rooney through injury they are finished

30stone 28-09-2009 10:14 AM

Yeah i dont think they will have someone to create enough chances for them.
Owen would still score though if he was given the oppurtunity with rooney out through injury.

owen isn't the answer to their probelms they need a guy to score 35 guys a season

Chels 28-09-2009 03:24 PM
