In the email Luke sent me he mentions singing with a boy band. So it's either Union J or One Direction. Either way it's good news. I want to see the fun Luke back on the show. :love:

Vanessa, I am sorry to inform you that since I have decided Luke is my fave, this means he will go ASAP. He was already bottom 2 on the week I decided I want him to win..luckily it was Sam against him though

Winning can be a curse (James Arthur was abrasively assertive and talented enough to know what he wants and get trendy producers like Naughtie Boy on board but the Joe McElderrys or Leon Jackson can't). Unfortunately winners get lumbered with a pre-chosen cover single, with cheap formulaic video of their XF " journey" and then pressurized battle for Xmas no1.

Coming second means you feature in the winner's pop video (their best bits and journey) where demot reveals the winner and the runner up looks gutted. Followed by ticker tape. This video will be broadcast for 2 months and will be the only image the public has until you bring out material eg Jls looking gutted when losing to Alexandra Burke

Third place escapes this, no pressure , no expectations, no appearing in winner's video, noone is watching what you're up to, third place is... 1D.

I want him in the final, but i'm not sure he can get there. They have a sing off in the semi finals. :bawling:
