Supposing someone turned to a fellow housemate and expressed all of those thoughts - comparing gay people to being 'handicapped' - 'a choice' - and something that should be 'fixed' etc - but about black people instead?
What do you think the outcome of that conversation would have been? So please explain why it is any more acceptable to say those things about gay people? |

I think 'choose' is too loose a term in that case. Sexuality has been proved to be determined by x and y chromosomes and you can't change that. You can choose to live a certain way but that doesn't mean you can choose to change your pre-determined sexuality. |
