BT Sport with no signal so Bein Sport it is. Thank **** for the Internet tv box.

Brother Leon 10-08-2014 02:14 PM

All I want is a Nasri goal. For the sake of the troll in me.

Drew. 10-08-2014 02:48 PM

2 great goals & Completely bossed the first half hour or so. All this with Sanogo leading the line and Ozil still to come back.

Brother Leon 10-08-2014 03:36 PM

Good ol' City.

Drew. 10-08-2014 03:59 PM

Too easy

2 pieces of silverware in less than 3 months, taken long enough.

Are Everton the only team that failed to win a single friendly then

Jack. 11-08-2014 08:43 PM

What is this world coming to. Rihanna wanting to buy liverpool :umm2:

BBfanUSA 11-08-2014 09:22 PM

Didn't realize that Liverpool was up for sale. I think an American firm owns the club right now right?

Samuel. 11-08-2014 09:25 PM

We're not lul

But yeah, American owners

Locke. 12-08-2014 07:33 AM

Wants to buy shares, not the actual club.

Realised that after I posted

Samuel. 15-08-2014 12:19 PM

So confident Sturridge will be top scorer I'm tempted to put something silly big on it...

Locke. 15-08-2014 12:22 PM

£20 bet for top scorer on Paddy Power and you get a £2 free bet everytime the player scores throughout the season

Brother Leon 15-08-2014 12:43 PM

Hope we are all ready boys. May the war begin.

Predicton:

Chelsea
City
Arsenal
United
Liverpool
Tottenham
Everton

Samuel. 15-08-2014 12:47 PM

That's pretty good

But I was thinking maybe double that with another 0 :worry:

I could justify it by telling myself it's the £600 winnings from the World Cup final... just about

Only doubt I have if is we sign another big name striker, but that's looking unlikely at this point. Sturridge being the focal point of our attack I could honestly see him getting 30 goals regardless where we end up finishing.

I urge you not to be silly, you saw the world cup, the guy couldn't hit a barn door.

Lukaku will score more than him.

Samuel. 15-08-2014 12:50 PM

Those 3 games do render the previous 33 where he scored 24 goals irrelevant, that is true...

Locke. 15-08-2014 12:52 PM

It was all set up for Arsenal to be the big club that dropped points on the opening weekend, Palace just had to ruin it by sacking Pulis didn't they.

Guess Utd will have to do.

Alf 15-08-2014 01:09 PM

I'm very confidant for Everton this season, I think we have a first team that can compete with and beat any team in the league.

I think we've got a real good balance in our team with Baines and Piennar arguably the best left hand side partnership in the league, and the machine Coleman down the right.

Our Goalkeeper has turned in to a very solid and reliable underrated player.

Lukaku was a massive signing that we kept him, he's a complete striker fast, strong, great work rate and scores goals.

Barry gives us that experience and leadership in the middle and holds the team together

Jagielka missed a massive chunk of last season, so it will be massive for us to get him back at the heart of the defence, and young Stones will be pushing for place after his end of last season form.

Barkley brings us that bit of X factor that can turn a game in one moment of brilliance, and he should be a much more improved and consistent player now after his little taste of world cup experience.

But the player I think is gonna be big for us is Naysmith, he brings real energy to the team, works real hard and is a real threat when bursting forward.

Really think we have a good bunch there, but the test will be if we get a lot of injuries.

I'm confident we'll get a top 4 finish.

Come on you Blues

Brother Leon 15-08-2014 02:15 PM

"9 players injured, and look at me. I'm not nervous at all"

The quotes LVG is going to give us :joker: We are ****ed though. Who would if though at the start of this season out starting XI on the pitch would be weaker..bloody hell.

Locke. 15-08-2014 02:26 PM

Who are the 9 players?

Ryan57 15-08-2014 02:26 PM

I guess we should of expected it. We act so unlike a big club in the transfer market, it's ridiculous. We'd rather brag than spend. Time for Woodward to step aside.
