Oh well....
|
So what did BB get and what did the live surprise get yesterday?
|
1.22?! WTF!
I was expecting it to be around 1.6 again to be honest but its lost 300k overnight again. Are these viewers bipolar? So that 1.22 is including +1 yeah? Whats the overnight without? This is the number last years Saturdays were getting or less than actually I think last years Saturdays were getting 1.3/1.4 weren't they? |
Live surprise got 1m
|
Channel 5's Big Brother: Power Trip entertained 1.0m (4.7%) at 9pm (188k/1.2%), followed by a live special with 1.0m (6.1%) at 10pm (197k/2.1%).
|
Live Surprise got 1.20m. Extremely stable for the live feed then.
1.18m for the HLs was the full slot, tapechecked was 1.22m.The 1.22m looks low but the 1.20m looks quite good in comparison for the live reveal, and hopefully those people will come back tonight for the fallout. |
OMG 1.0!
This is such a bad rating without +1 it was close to dropping below 1 million on a Monday night. Tonight it really needs to bounce back or we are looking at ratings settling at 1.0 to 1.3 I think for the duration. |
See I dont think it will bounce back....the thing with daley last year was that it was widely reported on sites and tv...I havent seen amything about tonight yet...
|
Its not going to go much higher anyway what are you expecting cbb is the much bigger show now
|
Decent rating the Beckham documentry got 4.6m
|
Think bbuk will be cancelled fpr good now wont return
|
Tonight will be around 1.4m I reckon but it won't go higher than that unless its for evictions. A lot of Twitter/Facebook speak about the row, so maybe it will help, not sure though.

Ice Road Truckers, The Hotel Inspector, Cowboy Builders all rate above 1 million as do Channel 5 documentaries. For a show that takes so much man hours to give such an average return I cant see it being renewed. If they did renew it kill me now but a 13 week CBB would be a huge ratings hit imo. Januarys was epic and the fact most of these are pretty much on a level of some of the CBB contestants anyway whats the difference? Celeb BB is allways full of unknowns and they are usually the best housemates. People are just bored of watching so called wannabes, its gonna be a sad day if they cancel it but I would be well up for a summer long CBB. I know that's going to be a very unpopular opinion on the forums but after the legends of Louisa ect I wouldn't be disappointed at all. |

They will be expecting a massive drop in the ratings due to the world cup though..

That should have got 1.3 atleast without plus 1 and you know it lol I know its hard to admit. With the world cup approaching the only way this is going is down and if the ratings stay like this even then im thinking its going to rate lower than BB12/13. |
Also, I think people need to remember about the World Cup can do the opposite effect.
Firstly, a lot of the matches won't clash with BB (I will watch most matches, but will only watch Italy if they clash with BB), and secondly, does anyone remember BB13? It was quite interesting that whenever BB faced a match (which wasn't England), the ratings for BB actually increased. I guess it's the sort of, "Anything but Euro/World Cup" mentality. One of the first matches of Euro 2012 averaged over 7m, but BB13 managed 1.6m if I remember correctly (up from the 1.2m from the previous day). |
