It doesn't put me off. The characters who are guilty of it aren't really role models so it's not as if it's trying to force a view to the audience.

It's only meant to be laughed at anyway and they're fictional.

Like yeah if it was a reality show and all of them were racist or homophobic it would be off putting.

Also the character of Channel is basically Ryan making fun of the some of the ignorant american's who really are like that.

So I'm led to believe this means it'll be the same hospital from the finale.

yes that would be really cool. Ryan Murphy and his team have trade marked Summer Camp apparently, so it looks likely.
