I can't see much difference between Marc and Danny.
Both are arseholes. |

He does,I think, at times use terms that he doesn't mean, however he loves the reaction he gets so goes on with them. People just seem to be falling for it all the time too, so whose fault is that. I think he is great the way he goes about getting them all going, I'd likely hate to at times be on the receiving end but it is often hilarious to watch. |
Homophobic and racist language is banter now? :worry:

"i'm gay, i like boys" in my opinion he is not in the least homophobic if he makes that comment on national television.
marc is crude..and people might consider the word inappropriate but it used among friends all the time. like almost any word the context and intent is important judge what it means...sounds to me like he was using as a general insult which is part of his banter:) it doesn't sound to me like he meant it to a and derogatory attack on a persons sexuality. if you want to say he uses inappropriate language .. fine ...if you want to say he is crude ...ok but saying he is homophobic is ridiculous. i'm gay and not in least offended by the way |

Simply using the word fa**ot, as much as some people might hate the word because of the connotations it has to them, does not make the person using it a homophobe. By saying it does, you're applying an entire mindset to a person, based on a single word they've said (or in this case typed) without understanding anything about that persons individual relationship with the word, or the people they were saying it to, or the context it was said in. ALL of these things have to be understood if you're going to label someone as a homophobe as actually being homophobic is a very serious thing, and a very different thing to being insensitive with the language you choose to use. By all means take issue with his choice of language and let's debate whether it's an acceptable term (in my life, it is) but people shouldn't confuse their personal distaste for a word and how it makes them feel with someone else's intent in using it. At worst, it makes him insensitive, but homophobic? No. |

They are very nice to eat too. The Brain's ones that you buy from the freezer. But, on a serious note, you must agree now that all such words are wrong and should never be spoken, even if they appear in commercially released songs. If you do not agree to this then I will stamp my feet and you will be banned! |

I hate the word homophobia anyway. It implies fear. |
I've seen posts on here using the word 'Dyke' in jest.Is that not homophobic too?Imo intent is key here.
