Ancelotti is at Napoli and I doubt he will leave after one season for a job that wont be safe

He's done well at Napoli too.

Man U are in the same position we are when we could only attract Hodgson and Rodgers then if you are lucky a fantastic manager wanting a challenge will come along

Denver 12-05-2019 05:13 PM

Though Dyche or Howe may be tempted by Man U

GiRTh 12-05-2019 05:15 PM

Ya Ya Toure at the Etihad.

Howe might be good but Dyche would last half a season.

Man U, Arsenal and Spurs won't be in contention in the next 5 years. It doesn't matter what manager they have, that will still be true.

Neither will Chelsea, they have a owner who lost interest brought in a manager who has never won anything then have their best player desperate to leave with added on transfer ban

Spurs would be in contention if Levy actually wanted to put money into the squad

GiRTh 12-05-2019 05:28 PM

Abramovich is trying to sell Chelsea so the the billionaire benefactor may be gone soon. They'll be in serious trouble when that happens. Man U are a mess and its gonna take a a three to five years project to get them out of it. Arsenal have a good manager with a terrible squad - except the strikers - They need investment from the chairman but I heard there is only about 45 million to spend. However Barca want Lacazette and if they make a 70 million plus offer then we've no choice but to sell him and use the money to strengthen the squad.

Allison has 21 clean sheets the second most in PL history

TAA 13 assists is the most by a defender in PL History

Liverpool's Points tally is enough to win the league in all but 1 of the previous seasons (not counting this one)

Liverpool are the only team to lose one game yet not win the league

No team has conceded less then Liverpool this season who conceded 16 less then last season

Liverpool are the only team in history to have 2 players win the Golden Boot

Klopp needs to win manager of the year for creating history

Denver 12-05-2019 05:34 PM

Also for the first time in history the top 3 goal scores are all African

If you sell your 2 strikers you are pretty much doomed because there is not many 20 goal a season strikers out there and you will struggle to but the ones that are

Exactly, but we have to think of the squad, in particular the defence. We got two strikers who scored over 25 goals in all competition and a 15 goal a season man in Ramsey but still couldnt break top four. We're in a mess too TBH, the chairman is the one who need to back the manager to get out of this mess.

Origi would be a great player for you but he has just won himself a contract

GiRTh 12-05-2019 05:56 PM

No thanks. No Origi. We may as well buy back Walcott. :nono::nono:

I think Origi suits your system better then ours and will never be more then a impact sub for us

Denver 12-05-2019 05:58 PM

Or you could try the championship like you use to

GiRTh 12-05-2019 06:02 PM

:conf::laugh:

We never buy players from other British clubs. Certainly not who go straight into the first team. Its one of the biggest problems I've always had with Wengers transfer policy; why was he buying players from teams half way up the French league when there were better players in the Uk IMO

Also, we dont need a backup striker. We need either defenders of genuine wide players.

Calderyon 13-05-2019 02:37 PM

Congratulations Manchester City.

GiRTh 13-05-2019 03:48 PM

If Arsenal had won either of the games against Brighton or Palace at home last month we'd have made top four. If we'd won both we'd have finished third. *smh*

bots 13-05-2019 03:54 PM

if huddersfield hadn't lost so many games, they would have finished top 4 :hehe:
