It’s one thing to be curious about the colour of a child’s hair but to be ‘concerned’ about skin colour and how it’s going to look is racist. There’s not really anything to debate about that and if you are then you are part of the problem.

I wonder if all the Ginger headed people in this country would have felt offended...
The use of the word 'concern' was not appropriate and I question that that would have been said to Harry..because its only by using that word that makes the comment Racist..

Were you present during the conversation? How are you sure it wasn't said as a concern? :conf:

The thing is too, it's not Meghan it was said to.
Whoever said it, my guess is a name will find its way out eventually.
It was said to Prince Harry, I think it was likely asked in a negative way, because Prince Harry didn't brush it off after it was said.

So much so he relayed it to Meghan.
I could speculate as to who said it, however won't.
Taking on Prince Harry's now difficulties with someone he cared more about.

I cannot think of any relevance to ask the question of what colour the baby would be.
It certainly must have flowed from some inner ignorance or prejudice
.

Plus it's for Harry and Meghan to be the ones offended by the question.
Not for others who aren't people of colour to tell them how they should feel after such a question.

Plenty will and have however.
So much for being in the 21st century.
Seems a lot of decent educating needs to be done as to some in the Royal set up.
Outside of it too it seems possibly too.

Exactly my point ,why were they so worried about Archie's skin complexion??. Meghan is mixed race and Harry is white so definitely ignorance on whoever said it . And how did they expect Archie to look ?.

They have made an accusation but left the court wide open for people to speculate....they are prepared to say it wasnt the Queen or Prince Phillip..so William/Kate/Charles and Camilla have the finger pointed on them....how unfair is that. Manipulative move...I have seen it all before.

Harry also confirmed the question was asked ...

I don't get why anyone would want to watch this, I can't imagine anything more boring than one obnoxious American talking about herself for ages with another :joker:

I guess the viewers will be split into those who want to pick on every little thing she says to "prove" how horrible she is, and those who want to "Yass kween, slay, we love to see it" whenever she breathes ...

She couldn't get a word in at all.
In fact she just about gave up.

He has an unhealthy obsession with these 2 and his rantings were even more over the top than usual.
Thankfully Trisha was there to slap him down.
Not that he took any notice, however she made the far better points.

Is he looking for a knighthood maybe?

Why do you use ‘Curious’ regarding the hair and ‘concerned’ regarding skin colour....I used the word ‘Concern’ to both...to make the point ffs.

I cant believe how self absorbed she is with herself.

Its poor me,poor me, all the time as her husband sits next to her having lost his mother.

I agree, it is and should be concerning to not see the difference between speculation of hair colour as opposed to referencing a person's skin colour.

It would appear possibly, a lot more education is needed in the Palace and beyond the Palace too, as to references of race related matters.

Anyway, it was Prince Harry it was said to, he then told Meghan, clearly he was offended by it, so that he didn't want her having to face that question directly from whoever said it.

Of course it's akin to a racist reference.
What should skin colour matter anyway.
