She has plenty more great grandchildren around her, whats the point of trying to bond with one she will likely never see again.
They could have brought her (and Archie) to meet the Queen any time in the last year, and didn't.

FFS what a grim outlook :joker:. I sometimes forget how little you think of Elizabeth, jet.

I imagine she was delighted to meet Lilibet, as I simply am not going to sit here trying to fathom that a 96 year old woman might hold grudges against babies :joker:.

Who said anything about a grudge? Really, TS, your intelligence takes a wild dip when it comes to Royalty or your beloved Harry and Meghan for that matter and your emotions get the better of you. :nono:

My view exactly

You said she wouldn't care about Lilibet because "she has plenty of other great grandkids" as if she's collecting them like pokemon cards, and implying that her ill-feeling (if there is any) towards Harry and Meghan would also apply to their children ... one of whom is a baby.

A rather longwinded way of saying, "the Queen holds grudges against babies".

As I said, I'm not so uncharitable about the Queen and believe that she probably is a warm-blooded human being and grandmother at the end of the day and would have, thus, been very pleased to meet baby Lilibet, and not sat there thinking "Pfft I have other better ones".

Trying to own Harry and Meghan by paining Lizzie as this evil grandmother is actually sending me

Where did I say that she didn't care?

What that has to do with holding a grudge against a baby? Only in your warped mind.
I'm sure she was delighted to see her, but as she limited the meeting to 15 minutes she obviously didn't plan on a bonding session for a future relationship, as there is likely to be none.

"What's the point" implies not caring, surely?

If it was formal then shame on the queen. Regardless of titles, she’s still the child’s great grandmother.

It's the company the child keeps.

How very dare you. :nono: All the Queens great grandchildren obviously adore her, or the ones who actually know her and visit her do anyway. :nono:

To you, because it suits you, it does. If it didn't suit you, it wouldn't. Am I right?

.....and thinking there is no point in a bonding session and not caring about an actual baby are 2 very different things. But you know that already.

I'm sure Harry will survive , life's too short to worry about silly things like that.

You could see on Harry’s face he was not Happy…whilst Meghan had a perma-smile on her face. I am sure if it was only Mike Tindall that didn’t speak to him he would be able to deal with it….but when it’s a huge portion of your family it’s not that easy to shrug off. Harry’s face spoke volumes….and the pictures of the two of them interacting together with Meghan looking deliriously happy whilst looking at Harry with a totally pissed off expression on his face did not go hand in hand.
Meghan was putting on a front…and Harry was fuming.

So I think it’s more than ‘a silly little thing’….

Exactly Goldie, he clearly doesn't speak to any of these people anyway so why would he be bothered what they think... of course the haters are in desperate need of some excitement in their life so they'll have their fun regardless :skull:
