Depp's emotions are all out there , he's not hiding anything. He's just being himself.

I honestly think you'd have to be blind (or blinkered) not to see how different Heard's face looks compared to usual - puffy, swollen eyes, etc. she barely even looks like other images of her. This would strongly suggest that she's spending a significant amount of time when out of court crying, which hardly fits with the "sitting there smirking" narrative. Depp has been smirking and laughing all through the trial, deliberately mocking and winding up lawyers and expert witnesses, winking at the crowd... I'm not saying that "means" anything (other than that he's getting a bit of an ego boost IMO) but a bit odd that all of this is apparently explainable/justifiable but any vague indication that Heard might smile or laugh at all, ever, is seen as "proof" that she's a liar.

People smile and laugh in bad circumstances and at times that might seem odd to others. Me, my wife and my sister ended up laughing in the front row at the crematorium during my mum's funeral (because of something inappropriate my daughter had said) - I'm sure that looked pretty odd to onlookers but I certainly hope they weren't sat thinking "Oh they all think it's funny that she died" :umm2:

I know Lawyer's & solicitors lie and do whatever to get their client off ,no matter what ..but surely there still has to be a moment where they both lay their cards on the table.

I know the client may still BS their own lawyer about events but still , the lawyer needs all the information to build a plan . They can't just wing it unless they're a amateur or incompetent  .

You might want to know and might ask but the client doesn't have to be honest, the lawyer's job is simply to represent the client AS THOUGH they are innocent regardless of their own suspicions. I'm sure there are plenty of examples of people never admitting to a crime they've committed to anyone, including their lawyer, and being found not guilty but with their own lawyer still having suspicions about the truth. It's a large part of why many lawyers wouldn't consider going into criminal defense, or will only defend for things like financial crimes and not things like murder. Easier to sleep at night knowing you successfully defended a tax evader than a child murderer, etc.

In this case ... ... it's a civil/libel case. I doubt Depp's lawyer gives a **** what did or didn't happen so long as the pay cheques keep coming.

In murder & rape trials .. plenty of lawyers just care about their pay cheque aswell . But if things are being revealed for the first time, then I still think the lawyer would like some light shed on things.... as it makes them look stupid aswell .

I know the client isn't always honest , and I can tell Heard's legal team don't care hence the suitcase with the handle bar still up next to her. Which just looks bad on all their parts .

She was trying way too hard to cry. But no tears came out.
She would have been more believe if it wasn't so over the top.

You don't think she looks like she's been crying all through this trial? I'd say either she's been recently crying, a lot, or she's having some sort of allergic reaction that needs attention. Her face is clearly far puffier than how she normally looks. Probably "faked" too I imagine.

She has been having a lot of cosmetic procedures. Her face does not look as good as it used to.

And didn't she say she used a makeup product that wasn't even around yet  .

The brand confirmed it wasn't made until 2017.
She didn't do her research well enough

...do you remember which products you were using on each day 5+ years ago? Misremembering something is evidence of nothing.

Yes I most definitely WOULD remember ,if it was a key factor in domestic abuse .

GoldHeart 11-05-2022 12:30 PM

If a bloke smacked me around ,and I used makeup to hide it then YES.... I probably would remember which brand I used.

Notice how Depp forgot that Heard stubbed a cigarette on his face , naturally I'm sure we're all thinking "how in the hell would you forget THAT" .

But I think it's because so much other unstable chaotic stuff was happening that it slipped his mind, until he saw the photo then it jogged his memory.

Violence was such a reoccurrance that his brain probably couldn't process everything at once . Even when he's retelling his side .. it's like he's still processing it all .

Even a behavioural expert analysed it , we'd all remember if someone stubbed a cigarette on our faces as it's so insane .

But if loads of other crazy stuff was going on like hitting and throwing vodka bottles around , whilst high on alcohol and drugs then Depp probably wouldn't remember every detail at first.

But Heard would remember her make-up brand.

No. My wife’s grandma remembers an entire caravan holiday that her grandad insisted never happened. They had full-on arguments about whether or not this holiday ever happened.

People misremember things.

That sounds more like the mandela effect ,you've gone into now .

People misremember things yes and can forget thing's,but the way Heard goes about it is more like she's making things up on the spot . I also think she's been coached on certain things.

I personally think what you're seeing is someone who isn't as comfortable playing to a crowd as Johnny Depp. Beware a skilled orator, GoldHeart.

Depp is more composed & experienced , I think his acting skills will naturally come into it a little . But it doesn't make him a liar as such.

When he was being questioned , he probably channelled jack sparrow a bit because sparrow is this larger than life character who wouldn't get pushed around. As Depp is a introvert and more reserved usually.

........Captain Jack Sparrow is a pirate who gets away with his crimes by being a skilled and charismatic orator. I largely agree with you that he's been bringing a little Jack Sparrow to this trial and I 100% know why he's doing it... and it's working. Yo ho ho.

Jennifer Howell, Whitneys friend, testified that Amber nearly pushed Johnny down the stairs and that she has been abusing her own sister her whole life

Could Amber Kill Johnny?

I saw a clip pop up on the internet ,of her being physical with her sister.

She also attacked her and threw wine at her. Disgusting way to treat your own sister.
If Johnny's lawyers use Jennifer deposition, this will finally prove that Amber is the violent one.
