Honestly Nicky sometimes you’re an absolutely awful person. Not liking the song is fine but being a nasty little kant is not.

Nicky91 07-03-2025 08:33 AM

no i am disappointed

hugely disappointed

comparing this to past work from them, i liked their past work, The Corrs vibe

but this is all over the place, like as if they are clueless which direction they need to go with such echoing harmonies

so no i am not impressed, not at all

also this feels too stitched up onto them rather than fitting into their discography nicely

would've more liked a shania twain meets the corrs sort of entry

doubt juries will vote something messy quite highly either, they more go for the songs which you clearly know what genre it is, and a properly done fusion

sorry

Can we just ban that nasty little troll already

A miserable parasitic dullard who thinks he has a get out of jail free card bc he has autism.

Love the UK effort. Playing to juries strengths with all of the televote hitter songs being involved. Lovely.

Crimson Dynamo 07-03-2025 11:16 AM

Yep love the UK entry and the who vibe its giving

I wasn’t sure of it at first, but after a few listens I’ve come to actually quite like it. It’s a big risk for Eurovision, but I hope it pays off.

Nicky91 07-03-2025 12:24 PM

best UK entry ever ever ever ever ever ever

nothing can go wrong for the UK this year

Nicky91 07-03-2025 12:24 PM

Newsnight (end of their show)
Friday played
a clip of the Maltise Singer

Who has been told to change
The word "Khant" (means) singing.

They Sing the "Serving Kant"

It sounds like the "C" word

Amazing they they let them in
to sing
the "C" word..................

Malta has a few days
to change that word.

Portugal’s entry

Benjamin 09-03-2025 06:34 AM

Serbias entry

Benjamin 09-03-2025 06:35 AM

San Marinos entry

Benjamin 09-03-2025 06:36 AM

Swedish entry (was very happy this one was chosen)

Benjamin 09-03-2025 06:46 AM

Portugal - bland and forgettable (and they just took a massive tumble in the odds)

Serbia - Nothing special, again very forgettable.

San Marino - I always will them to do well, they are always the little underdog. They may actually get to the final with this, it’s not terrible.

Sweden - Love this one. And in Swedish!

Yes

was my second favourite there, shame my favourite Luisa got last place, age discrimination somehow :( she really sang her heart out

was a enjoyable mini-sanremo level of quality final :D

Marco Carta served a bop too, but i guess most attention went to Gabry and Andrea

even Pierdavide Carone had a underrated result, despite also having had a good entry

great opening either by Al Bano  whom btw received a honorary citizenship of san marino, from their prime minister :D

i like Serbia, but always have been a sucker for oldschool balkan ballads anyway and this has all the good ingredients of most of their previous strong ballads so

Sweden feels pretentious and too tryhard to please the eurofandom, wish they kept being them with basic pop, Erik was robbed :bawling:

Portugal is nice, as it is in native language, and they are always not caring about what works at ESC, it paid off great in 2017 for example

I was more happy Mans didn’t win. I hate when past winners come back and try again. They had their moment already.

Nicky91 09-03-2025 07:44 AM

Questo e Quello have potential for another year maybe

''Bella Balla'' already is great

Benjamin 09-03-2025 07:49 AM

What’s interesting is now it’s not Man’s representing Sweden the odds are going all over the place. There isn’t a clear winner yet/front runners yet and this could be a very unpredictable contest.

Also glad to see Albania seems to be gaining a lot of traction.
