Trump brought that upon himself, with all his sour behaviour at the results of the election

Don't want those Biden supporters kicking off, do we? Especially when the military move in and arrest everyone on the stage.

The apparent upcoming impeachment is a bit of a waste of several millions of dollars innit? He'll be gone in nine bloody days, why piss away the tax payer money in times like this?

It would actually save the US money in the long run. It would remove the lifetime secret service protection, the annual pension, and the $1m/yr travel allowance. Unfortunately he won't be removed because attempting a coup isn't enough to make republicans vote against trump.

Sometimes you just have to trust your own instincts judging by what you actually see. I'm watching CNN. Anderson Cooper's demeanour doesn't look like he thinks they've won, so far Cummo's demeanour doesn't look like he thinks they've won. Don Lemon is next, I anticipate the same, but we'll see.

When you win, you usually celebrate and are relieved and happy.

Just tune in and look at their faces, full of hate and anger.

By the way, there is no other news today on CNN except for the news that, Orange man bad.

So much for the pandemic.

There's a difference between what you want to see and what you actually see.

You're looking for things that aren't there, you're looking for justification for conspiracies instead of looking at the facts and you're lying to yourself to make yourself feel better.

Blimey, I didn't know former presidents got all that!

A lot of Americans are pretty angry about the absolute mess their political system is now in, and that their reputation globally - already suffering because of multiple things Trump has done over the last few years - is now in tatters.

They have "won" in that Trump will be leaving the Whitehouse but they have very little to celebrate this week.

i'm actually pretty annoyed with the dems. They don't need to do this impeachment, it's going to throw fuel on the fire and more lives are going to be lost. Who honestly cares that he will be the only president to be impeached twice. History will record Trump's actions clear for everyone. The courts can decide if he is a criminal. Those that support him will never see anything wrong anyway.

Biden will be president next week, they need to de-escalate all of the rhetoric and let the courts decide

Yes many Democrats say it throws fuel on the fire.

It's more than that, it's ensuring he doesn't benefit from being president, that he can't even try to run again. It's important he is impeached, he has committed the gravest crime ever committed by a US president, he must answer for it.
