Benitez lol.

Liverpool would do better with a better manager, someone who would actually smile when they go 2 - 0 up in like 90 mins, he still sits there looking like a pile of ****.
Raffa is the best we have had in a very long time.... Problem with football is that players cant be sacked when they play bad... Managers can due to not being on the pitch.
Bottom line is liverpool could get somone better than benitez.

Novo 09-02-2009 07:45 PM

Shocking stuff

there aint many good managers on the market as well

should have stuck with scolari for a while longer i dont see he point in letting him buy Queresma then sacking him?????

Locke. 09-02-2009 07:56 PM

The only manager I would like instead of Benitez is Mourinho, if not then keep Benitez. Yes, he does make mistakes, but he makes up for them. Some of our star players got an 70 minute rest this week and we still managed to win, he had a good reason for resting them too. They had told him before the game they were tired.

And lets face it, if it wasn't for Benitez and his signings we wouldn't be challenging for the league, and wouldn't have won the champions league if it wasn't for him.

30stone 09-02-2009 07:58 PM

They let in 2 goals david... carrager messed up my fantasy team only got one point lol. should have done better.

Novo 09-02-2009 08:08 PM

Benitez is good but he's not a good enough manager for liverpool
liverpool are going to have to rely on winning the champions league now
because they have been knocked out the league cup Fa cup and have screwed it for themselves in the premiership it seems like a ever lasting cycle i'll give him credit for the champions league he won with liverpool but thats the only decent thing he's done for that club as well as signing torres
but to go with that he's had some pretty awful signing's as well Voronin, ngog, el zhar, lucus, benayoun, robbie keane, dossena, bellamy, pennant,
A good manager like David moyes knows where the talent is and spends the money well Arteta, cahill, lescott, jageilka, howard, Yakubu, felliani, gosling, baines,

Remember we only came 4th in the premiership last year, so any improvment shows a sign of change. I don't think any Liverpool supporter at the beginning of the season was expecting to straight out win all trophies. At the moment it looks likely we will come 2nd in Premiership (unless we beat United, and then things will be interesting), but 2nd is fine also! It just means we will re-evaluate and try and improve next season.

Also I wouldn't mind Martin O Neil as a manager, but I have a feeling he's probably high in the ranks for when Fergie leaves Man U, and would wait for that.

andyman 09-02-2009 09:12 PM

Chelsea have sold their soul to the devil... Or should that be devilski?

No manager will want that job now and any manager that does take the job is only thinking of the money! Chelsea has became a footballing joke ran by a mad man that wants to throw money at everything.... No understanding of the game at all.

andyman 09-02-2009 09:17 PM

A.Grant fave to become Chelsea manager, well lets say a manger with their hands tied behind their back with no control and short life span... To be fair, grant did do well for Chelsea last season and came very very very close from winning the double, sacking him was a joke! Like i said the club is ran by a mad man.

Well, at the begining of the season i thought " this is just the begining of the season. Just because were top now doesnt mean we'll win the prem" but i've always thought that we'll win the champions league. I wouldnt mind if we came second but first would be great.

Gemmer-x 11-02-2009 08:03 PM

Many of our good players are injured :/
and Lampsy has been subbed! gutted.
how obvious is it that we're going to lose?!

andyman 11-02-2009 08:09 PM

Its more like final! Glad to see Heskey in the team, wonder if Beckem will be part of the world cup squad if we get thru... He could be brought on during last 30mins in most games.

England have to win!
Just hope torres stays fit... He has bigger games than this!

Ross 11-02-2009 08:09 PM

Goo Spain

HeatherTWx 11-02-2009 08:09 PM

Wildcat! 11-02-2009 08:44 PM

andyman 11-02-2009 08:44 PM

Then again i say great goal... Bit lucky of a goal :bawling:

andyman 11-02-2009 08:55 PM
