Oh no poor thing she’s lost another loved one. R.

Firewire 28-12-2017 09:37 PM

Abi to wake up when someone says Steven's name?

Ronald. 28-12-2017 09:38 PM

She will be in heaven with Bradley and her hamster now . R.

:(

Not the biggest fan of Abi the last year or so and agreed with writing her out for a while, but killing her off? :umm2: Kind of pointless?

Like with R&R, it serves no purpose moving forward (is anyone at all interested in Max or Jack at this point?) and completely obliterates any future potential.

EE NEVER learns when it comes to deaths.

Agree ! Jack and max need to go! R.

It feels like JWB has appeared like three times since he came back. What a crappy plot.

Rob! 28-12-2017 09:46 PM

Urgh i’m so annoyed. Abi had so much more story in her

Cal. 28-12-2017 09:47 PM

It's ironic that Max was the reason she was up on the roof, and Lauren was the reason she fell trying to save her since the both of them have caused her so much torment over the years. No wonder she turned out the way she did.

Marsh. 28-12-2017 09:48 PM

Ugh and actress wise, I preferred Lorna over Jacqueline.

And Lorna was the one we watched grow up onscreen. Ugh.

EastEnders hates its longtermers.

Cal. 28-12-2017 09:49 PM

How fitting that Jake, Jo and Lacey all watched Lorna film her final scenes after watching her grow up <3

Cal. 28-12-2017 09:51 PM

They probably had Lorna for the long haul as well :bored:

Her final scenes are in the hospital bed. Brain dead.

Oh shut up you daft bint.

Ronald. 28-12-2017 09:53 PM

Would this have been decided by the old producer or the new one ? R.

Marsh. 28-12-2017 09:53 PM

It's kind of tragic when most major characters who have departed are all in the ****ing cemetery.

Makes the show feel empty and lifeless (ba dum tsh).

Sometimes it's good to have them off screen, even if we don't see them for years like Our Z it's good that they're there and have the potential to return.

The new one. This entire plot was John Yorke's work. He was the one to axe them. :(

It's like de ja vu.

We all thought SOC was gonna be good until Ronnie and Roxy drowned in that bastard pool.

oh mess, i thought people weren't keen on SOC after he killed off Pat or was that someone else? so they weren't that pleased.

Ronald. 28-12-2017 09:57 PM

I think the only characters who should ever be killed off are the villains who are no longer redeemable or the characters who want a big exit when they choose to leave. R.

Pat died six years ago hun how long do you think SOC has been there? :suspect:

Bryan Kirkwood (who has also made Hollyoaks pants for the last 5 years) was the one to kill Pat.

Killing the occasional major character is fine. EE tends to kill them all. :(

Cal. 28-12-2017 09:59 PM

The only major characters that have left Walford not in a casket in years have been Kat and Alfie, Tanya and Zainab I believe?
